Birds and Towers     
There was an article about a TV Tower Wires that killed 400 birds in one night.  It seems unlikely that many birds would hit the wires in a single night. The birds got killed so it must have happened. What can be done about it – I am not sure maybe put reflective pain on the wires and the other would be to put lights that run down the wires. Birds are needed for environmental reason as they eat millions of insects and their droppings are good for the soil. This reminds me of problem several years ago. It seemed like there was an over fishing of Anchovies off the coast of Peru. The Anchovies seemed to disappear for a while and the story goes like this- when they over fished for the Anchovies then the food for the Pelicans was not there for them to hover over the ocean. The Anchovies who are part of the Herring family and grow from 2 to 4 inches long and eat Plankton and other small plants and animals in the oceans usually are fertilized by the droppings from the Pelicans as the birds hover over the ocean and eat Anchovies. The fishermen when they over fished for Anchovies did not leave enough for the Pelican. Everything is a circle of things happenings so if part of the circle is broken then other things do not work right. Humans need to find a way to work with nature or the Human race is gone. There is a story about India is running out of drinkable water and will be forced to changed their ways. India has a huge population – what can be done about salvaging their problem? People die by the thousand in both China and India because of not living with nature. There are problems in the US over water problems, droughts and of course fires. This could go on and on .
