US national debt

There was an interesting comics in Doonesbury by Gary Trudeau that I thought that my readers my be interested. The US has accumulated a National Debt of 9 Trillion Dollars. Over half when a Bush was on watch. If you throw in Reagan fully 70% was created by by 3 Republican Presidents. apparently they never even tried ot balance the Budget , only 2 were balanced . As he says the question -- Where did the myth of GOP fiscal responsibility come? Is it not a wonderful tradition that the Republican party Has? I would like to know when the Republicans will quit saying lies to the American people about their so call Conservative ideas. The catch is that the Republicans have sold out to Big Business and the rich and to devil with the mass of American people. It does go back to the point that if the Rich are not taxed then what happens to our debt - the debt gets bigger and last but not least our citizens loose their freedom, etc. The republicans sure have a heratage to look to. As I told somebody awhile back if it was not for the so call liberals- we would not have schools,roads , etc because the so call conservatives are too busy making themselves rich and powerful with extra homes etc. The things that rich do not remember what did the Dukes etc have during the middle ages but cold castles.
