Drugs controlled by the underworld

Why do we not make Mariwana legal and get it over with. It seems like that is the way the drug gangs want. Just think it could be like cigarets and be taxed and even controlled. as it is now we are filling our Jails with people and since that does not work what else can be done.The way that this country will we have space for the ordinary people. With the computers the way they we are slowly destroying this country. This is not only only thing that is destroying this country. Take Sex offenders that even if they can keep their record clean can be thrown in jail for next to nothin. Regardless of the so called tough laws that fools put on the books it does not stop or slow down these crimes. It always remind me of the older Western Storie that sent people to Prison and when they got out would become Sherifs etc. Today this is apparently an Impossiblilty. These felons aare tied to their troubles for the rest of their lives. Is there any hope for these people and this country to allow these people to go and lead useful lives and help the economy grow. We have so become so goody goody that our nation is being destroyed. It use to be when a law was put on the books there was a time limit that allowoed these people an answer to life and when they could go back to a normal life. Not anmmore as they can override the laws and put these people in jail litterly for doing nothin. When is there going to be a common sense approach to these laws and people. Can we afford the laws and what they lead into it. Enough said.
