our education system

I have been watching the science channel - I believe - and what I have seen makes me wonder about our enonphasis ( maybe spelled wrong) on our system which is putting our young people on a goal that they want to do. We do not train our young people even in things like dancing - which teaches rythen and believe it or not even math. Especially taking band teaches math and thinking but we have so called Psycoligiests in Grade school who them selves do not or are trained in math and science and I think a little common sense. We do not teach for instance penmanship which teaches patience, thinking, etc and most so call teachers do not know how to write. We need to put our training on young people to learn honest math, etc in the first grade - they are not babies. We are so dumb that our elections are on run on abortions and Sex problems instead of running on real truth. We definetly need to start to train our young people insteas of just punching keys and fancy calculators. At least back in the 30's we had an honest education from first grade on and expected the young people to learn and they did it. If there is not any expectation of the young and training how can this country come out of our troubles. There is very little difference between so call F students and A students. We are losing a lot of brainy people due to the emphasis on putting people in jail for every little thing. Youth does a lot of stupid things and make a lot of mistakes but what do we do except to want to put them in jail. According to what I saw on Television we could have lost WW2 to both the Japanese and the Germans. Even today who are the people in our colleges taking math and science and doing the research in our labs they are sure not American Born youth that are graduating from our education system. I guess I could go on but watching those shows sure reminds me of my own inexperience and training. The one thing that saved me was I like to read and do my own thinking Not that I was a great success but with time and experience I think I learned alot. Looking back on my life I always thinking that if I had the training what I could have been. I think this is true of a lot of youth especially the modern youth that in many cases are helping to fill our jails and die on the streets from automobil accidents. Oh well life has gone the route for me but I would love to see this country get back to doing things. Maybe one of the things that is wrong for instance is the fact we are becoming Mexico as these people do not really become Americanized and speak English and from what I read do not get very far in schools. Oh well.
