Management not going to jail

There was a case against David Witig and A man named lalke where they were supposed looting the company( I am talking about Westar . They were charged with conspiring to inflate their compensation at the Topeka, Kansas company the state's biggest based Electrical company The stock plummoted 88 million dollars during their Tenure as leaders of the Corporation . Thet settled with Witig for I believe 25 million dollars and his Lawyer fees of over 5 million dollars. I think Lake got 26 Million. These figurs may be wrong but it seemsl like Management gets by with everything. Are these people able to get by with looting company but with out actually proving anthenny I at loss how can these people get by with actions and when it is their job to make the company better not just steal from the people. Supposedly the Stock holders will be stuck for the payment of these people. I really do not believe that will be the case as it seems like in the very near future things seem to change. It seems like in the past the Employees and the custimer have had to pay for these problems. I still wonder how Management can get by with destroying a company and never seems like going to Jail. Look at the banks that got bailed out by the Federal Government. I wish people would wake up and learn what these people are doing to this country.
