Learning what is going on

I can not understand why people do not learn what is going besides accepting what the people that have sold us down the the drain. Let us take out last President - of course the people assumed that our debt did not go up but it did by 3 trillion dollars by putting the Iraq War on special allacations not by being part of the budget. Reagan did the same thing and both of these Presidents us deeper in debt and the average Public does not know this. It was during the Reagan Years that we had the Savings and Loan scandel. he did nothin about it except pay the bill. He also had the scandel that was in central america and it was lucky that more people did not go to Jail. I cannot think of that C. ( think how to spell it) but he lied to Congress and got away. He was a Marine Corp officer. The Republicans from Kansas has sold us out in every shape and form. Again Check this stuff out. Remember it is the Democrats that are gave things like Social Security, medicare , and it could go on and on. It is not the Republicans that have given us things that the Average person needs. It was Eisenhower that started us on the Interstate Highways, that was started out of the Defense Dept. to give us Military roads. It was a takeoff from the Autobahns in Germany. Even now some of these highways have turned into local roads which was not the intended purpose of these roads. Ike was not a true Republican. Churches are fine and they are needed but like all things that go overboard, they will help destroy this country. if you think this is impossible check the Histroy of Russia under the Txars and the Russian Orthodox churches.. Who pays for thing and who do they represent

I got into a little disccussion last night and politics does not lead to anywhere. The T parties - who is paying for them? I listened somewhere that it was Fox News including some of their people leading them. From listening further Fox news pulled some of their people out of these gathering. So I would say they represent the Republican party not just individual people. From what I gather - in my opinion- the average person does not even know why they are there. Welll enough said - I will probably draw some comments that never said anything and that is fine because it gives me an idea that my Blog is being read and that makes me feel good. Don

are Mexican really Americans or what

I had a dream last night about these Mecicans are so heavily living in the US. From I see they are very hard working and productive. But the chief thing that I see that they are always talking their form of Spannish. Is this now two nations in one. Are these people really Americn ? Is it so hard that these people do not want to talk english? If these people do not want to talk English and they really seem to want a separate nation of their own then they should all go back to Mexico. We ship our jobs down to Mexico because of low Wages and very productive people so if that is the way these people want to live then be honest with themselves and go back to Mexico. There was a story in the paper about Mexican Students in a Catholic School who were told to talk English alone. the parents took them to court and they did lose the case. The school had a right to force these children to talk English as this supposedly a an english speaking country and it is time that people can understand one another. Enough said Don

influence over children

Last night I listened to a Dectetive from a police department and catching people that do wrong with children. I have heard many speeches in this area but what the average person does not understand is simple - the Strangers has more influence over your children than does the Parents. I have heard speeches from Teachers that said the children come from broken homes and thus were not able to learn. So who causes these children to go the wrong way like contenting people over the internet for the wrong reason. Girls are even sending pictures of themsleves undressed and in many types of wrong poses that normally should be kept private. the boy friends sends the pictures to other people. yet one of things that Teen agers want is privacy so that Parents need not know what they are doing. who is responsible for the Teen Agers activies? It is amazing thing that most teachers in the public school system go along with this concept. They have actually have classes that teach Teen Agers to bypass their parents on their activities. I was involved in an Essay writing contest for 7th grade students and the public school teachers did not tell the students that they had to do it. What papers were turned in show the results of Teachers not requiring students to do anything. The Teachers have this idea to have students not meet goals but do what they want and the Teachers blame the parents for the student not learning. Who has influence over children during the day but our public school Teachers. I could go on but please investigate who has the influence over children. I remember another case a 16 year old girl took her Mother to court for not letting her run the streets. The Judge started to read the riot act to the Mother but the Mother turned the tables by SAYING SHE IS YOUR CHILD and the judge changed his turne. Now Parents have to start training their child in the home like working with them like doing the dishes, etc. That is the only way that a family can operate and be a family. I am rambling as usual. Oh yes the policeman said they were doing a good job of picking up the adut offenders but were they helping to make more offenders and kids going down hill. Don

world Government - need for

I have written about the need for a world Government beore as the world has shown with the crisis in Europe because of the Volcano in Iceland spewing ash over Europe and stopping Air Traffic. In Europe alone there are 27 Governments controlling air space and look what happened. I will repeat myself back in the 40's there was a man Wendal Wilke that run for the Presidency of the US that advocated a one World. The airplane and Missills even from small states like Iran could start again a world Conflagation. The UN has little or no controll over possibilities of global war. Even the problems with Mexico and US over the problem of the Immigation of Mexican to the US could cause a war and a Dictatorship in the US over the allowing Police to require people to carry indentification cards showing that they are Citizen of the US. This maybe happening in Arizone nowr. The Governour of that state as far as I know has not or let the law become legal. It could be legal in 5 days unless unless the Governour vetos the bill. There is a real problem in the Border States with Mexico. Even here when a person goes into a grocery store or even Resturants all a person hears is Spannish.There was a case hear where the Children going to a Catholic School was forbidden to speak Spannish only English. The teachers said the kids were making fun of the Teachers and the school was losing Discipline in the school. The school demanded that only English be spoken and the Courts backed the school up on this matter. I could go on but think what is happening to this globe. With the Global sales of munitions, airplanes, etc and hot heads in many nations- someone will make a mistake and we are all Goners. The Atomic bomb makes even small states equal to the Big states. Iran supposedly will have a missel that in 3 or 4 years will be able to hit the US. Is there any hope for this world. Another war whether started big or small states could obliterate all the people on the face of the Globe. I remember Hiroshima, Japan lost about 100 thousand people when the atomic bomb was dropped in 1945 but in this case it probably saved millions of lives. It stopped ww2 but the next one will do a lot more damage and lives. I am starting to repeat myself. We really need a World Government badly. Don

Tee Parties and Republicans

I was watching the Rachow Maddow and they had on the show on the Oklahoma bombing. The Story was about Timothy Mcveigh. They did a good job of showing everything they apparently knew. I wonder how many people after being egged on about the Republicans with their anti Government Rectorrick(misspelled what). I wonder who is paying for these meetings as it come out that Palin got 12 million dollars so far this year. The Represenative from Minnesota is Ranting and Raving about anti Government. It is reported that Repupblican leaders from Congress meant with the Bankers that help put this country in the shape it is in. It was reported that they ask for money to keep on trying to put the Regulation bill from passing. Is that against the law to say they will do this opposition for money.Don't these people belong in Jail for selling out their positions in Congress. Of course so much of this was done by the Bush Administration. Of course when the Supreme Court changed the law and gave permission for these Corporations to spend as much money on political Campaigns. Yes there is something wrong when these people in power can sell out the American people. Anyway back to what the show was showing me- could these so call TParties egg people to do simialer things. Marriage survival of such etc

I just got thru reading and article in the Wilson Quarterly Spring edition and it was very good. How many marriages make. I am not sure the figure if right but some where in 40's percent. How many men and women know how to get along with one another. Is it because both sexes are independent of each other and figure they do not need one another except for Sex.It is not just the Blacks and Mexicans but now a big percentage of white people are in that category. I know from my experience that there is too much independence and see who can be boss but also the Parents have turned over the raising their children to the Public School teacher and refuse to train their children and teaching how a family is supposed to work. Maybe the wellfare system is partly to blame. How many babies are being killed by Boy friends or Girl friends. It seems like when ever I read the paper there seems to be at least one. There is too many Teen age gangs that are killing one another. Where are the parents? I remember when one of my girls was in grade school- the teacher would hold sessions to anylyse the parents. It seemed like these teachers wanted ot Eliminate the Parents from the participation in the child's education. If marriages are going to work there has to be some way that Parents can work together in solving the problems that develope and not that either one is the Boss but learn how to make use of the other's intelligence. I know I grew up with a lot of ignorance and it has taken me many years to learn and of course now it is too late. It takes knowledge to learn knowledge. It is time that parents learned how to get along with one another, learn to work together if nothin else for the children's sake. Don

Big banks and big corporation

There has been many comments on the internet about grabbing all the assets and putting the CEO's etc in Jail. That is the problem with having the Republicans in leadership since they forgot who they represent. It is not just a matter of these people paying a fine and walk away with Millions. That is one of the problems with the Supreme Court giving big corporation the ability to spend all the money on Political Campaign so who did the Supreme Court sell out to. Of Course it is a Republican Party picked Judges. It is pretty bad when Congress of either Party sells out to Big Business. Just look at the Mining Mess in West Virginia where according to the news that the president spent 3 million dollar to defeat a certain judge who might have gone aganst them with Rulings that might have saved the 29 Miners that died in that Mine explosion. I guess Coal mining is a dangerous profession especially with the management of these mines. I guess it might have been a surprise when Goldman Sachs is being seud (taken to court). I guess when The District Attu from New York state and took these companies to court and got them to pay several million dollars and the Man got elected Gov. but his private life got in the way and now he is no longer Gov. This always reminds me of President Clinton where certain people supposely spent 150 million to impeach over his private life but I guess what they were mad at him was two things changing our Health Systems and taxing the rich. He did leave us with a serplus to pay off the national Debt where no Republican president could do that. I guess I have deviated a small bit. I wonder when these politicians that are sent to Washington will start working for the people not use things like Abortion and the term lower the Taxes, and least of all to go into war when we can no longer afford the experience, and last but now least the Patristum as a basis of getting elected. I wonder when people will start to recognise the lies that so call Conservatives use these terms to get elected. Enough said. Don

Republicans and Supreme Nominees

I listened to the Republicans trying to knock tje Nominees listed by the present President from being on the Supreme Court. I understand when there was a Republican President the Democrat did not go to the Extreme in knocking the Nominee for the Court. These Republicans must be sick in the head. They are lying most of the time as they owe their Alliance to big corporations. We really need a more Liberal leaning Supreme Court. Just think without the type of Supreme Court that we have - George W Bush would have never been President. And we would not have the Debt and Economy that we have now. Then again who knows what would have been. There have been stories about Gore having Some Investments with some prime Corporation. We need people that believe in the United States not just in Big Crooked Corporations. Where do we find these people? We have lost something. How did the Corporation that owned that mine in West Virginia that had some many things wrong with it that 29 nine Miners lost their lives. Where was the Government during the Bush administration, Should not Bush belong in Jail ? He took an oath that he was president and would uphold the Constitution. What did he do besides not paying for the Government during his administration. How much longer can this country vote for Republicans? What does all this have to do with the Supreme Court and the caliber of people that is placed on the Supreme Court. For instance, a while back the Supreme Court made it legal that they could buy and sell the Government. Do these people represent the American people. We need people on the Court that will represent the American people. Period. Don

did the CIA sell us out old these years

I was watching NGO channel this evening and they brought out what the CIA knew about whatour enemies was selling out about the Atomic Bomb. In cluding about a man named Knan from Pakeston. Apparently all these years they followed many of these people and apparently knew what the were doing.I always had a suspician that one of their people killed President Kennedy. I have never come up with any proof and now I watch this TV show this evening. If they knew about these events and the people involved why did they not tell anybody about. The secrective Agencies of the American Government are so afraid of telling the American people what is going on. It was not too long ago during the Bush years that they secrectively spying on the American People and it did come out. There was a story about the Defense Department knew about ht 9-11 deal and either did not tell anybody, was part of the deal to get us into war. This isa strange world that we live in when Governments play with war games with the control of people apparently the object. People are such fools to listen to War Mongers and give the control of people to these type of people. I could go on but please people learn what is going besides listening to Rabble Rouser. Just think what a greater country could be if people would learn History and how to apply it to Modern activities. I guess enough of this thing. Don

the financing of so call tea parties

Who is financing these Republican Gatherings. Just to get an idea- it was reported that the Republican party met with Big Business in New York to ask them for money. This is not the first time these corporations have Financed the Republican party. There was a report that Koch Industry has spent 50 million dollars financing these causes and the Republican party.
There is one report out that the Health Plan is being financed off the back of the Medicare patients and try to force the older people to pay more of the bill. I have already seen the effects of such a thing.
There was a need for for Government hnealth insurance as part of the reason that Canada to the production jobs was their Government Health .Of course the main reason for exporting jobs was the cheap labor. Just look at the conditions that people live in . in Mexico, and in China. If they had the laws that protected the working man they could not pay slave labor Wages either. People should investigate what is really going not listen to the Rabble rousers. One of the Reason that Nobody saw the tripling of Debt is simple - the Iraq was not part of t he Budget process. That was part of the reason that People did not realize that Bush tripled the National Debt and also he gave the rich and Big Corporation a big tax breaks. People should investigate honestly what is going on in this country. Oh well Don

Middle east peace

There will never be peace in the Middle until Syria, Egypt, Iran, and Iraq agree that there will be peace. I really do not understand why they want the destruction of Israel. History shows us that these countries have always warred against one another over that stretch of what is now Israel. Are they so afraid of their people maybe getting an education and mayby giving up of the Dictatorships that they want the destruction of Israel or the land around it. I think there is a problem when a religion is based on the destruction of another religion. Is this the problem? I have always wondered why religion has wanted people to be ignorant or be slaves. If you read History then this is the intrepretation is gotten. Remember Russia when they had the Tsars. the orthodox religion helped keep the people slaves. Theis has been true of most of the world Religons. Is this is the problem with having Jews in their country and coexisting with them. Is this again the problem with these countries. Again I do not understand why these countries have to fight over this parcel of land. Lebanon used to be a peace country and one of the Financial countries of the world but look what happened too that country when the Religist Zealots got into their country. Maybe if the Turks or known as Ottomans were to take control over the complete area again. A lot of the troubles in that area goes back to the 1st world War when England and France tried to divide and conquer. and it became a lot of small states that are Jealosy. History is great story of why we cannot have peace with one another. Read the story of Wendel Wilkie who run against Roosevelt in the Forties and proposed a one world approach to solving the problems. There was a fiction story out where an actor took over running the Galactic Empire and achieved peace acrose the Galactzie but it sure could come true if there was a true and active UN that was and has been used for private use so that they can get their power out. I deviated from lthe Middle East and as history tells us there will never be peace in that area until these countries stop fighting over that area of the land that is now Israel.

the study of Reading in grade schools

We had some people over the other night and as usual I got my mouth agoing well any way I was thinking the difference in the Modern schools. When I was in grade school, we had Emglish. History, Penmanship,etc inGrade slchools but we did not a special reading course where they get the students to mouth the words but without any meaning as what they read, I mean mouthing the words. I have a couple of Old Mcguffy books back from 1880 and what they ask of the 2nd and 3rd grade would make the so call Middle School look like dummies. They ask the why and where for etc questions about the artcle that they read. I wonder is that want is wrong with our adults that allow themselves to back candidates for the wrong reasons. The adults today do not understand what is going on. It is strange that we can not ask children to learn to think and to accept Responsibity as we might hurt their feelins or that maybe should act and do as young adults. Don

The Republicans - what is wrong with them

I will start with a note from letter to the local paper about the Republicans. It seems like Reagan left the Presidency wtih 1 trillion dollars in debt. The first debt of that in our Government's history. It seems like that Geroge w Bush left our government with another 3 or 4 trillion dollar additional debt. Both of these Presidents had Tax breaks for individuals and Corporations making big money. What does the Republicans want to destroy this country and make everybody Slaves. I heard on TV that a Fox announer is making 32 million dollars a year spouting stuff that is egging people on to violence and the people do not understand. The lady that ran as Vice Presidential candidate is now spouting the same stuff along with a Minnesota Representative. These people are crazy or mentally ill or something. I wrote a man running for Governour of Kansas that as Senator did everything he could to destroy people what is he going to do as Governour. Who do these people represent ? I guess they represent big business and the ultra rich. It is unknown why people send the people they do to Congress and the white house like the last Bush. I see where a coal company in West Virginia had a accident with at least 20 or more dead? Yet they had how my things that needed fixing and they paid Many Many thousands in keep the Regulators at bay and of course the Regulators did not really inforce the law. They need a union in West Virginia and help solve some of these troubles. Enough don

age of people that left Africa

Some of the stuff that I have been watching on TV and the people leaving Africa seems to be in confusion. I read where the Modern Human left Africa aproximately 50 k years ago. There is a show coming on Monday evening I believe 9 pm - and they are advertising that the two groups including the Neandertals and the modern man was together 200k years and they were going to discuss what went on. The Neandertal supposedly disappeared after 200k and that could happen to us. There are so many reports of when modern man came out of Africa that some of these shows cause confusion as what really happened and when. For instance Australa people were there 50 k years ago. I guess these programs do make people think as to what really went on and when. I think that it is high class TV Compared to some shows. and I really enjoy them. It would be interesting for the people that produce these shows, to get the data together and present them with out distorting the facts as the Scientist sees them. Don

The downfall of the Neighborhood asoc

I just happen to hear a conversation about why the Neighborhood associations are going down hill. With out the Police working with groups full time, it seem like it is harder and harder to get people involved. Of course the local police want all the police people in cars patrolling the streets. The one that I have been involved in does not and can up it seems to people to participat as the Local police being heavenly involved seems to draw people. It is too bad because the neighbor hood liason seems to get things down and helps cut crime. We used to have a neighborhood patrol so when people parked their cars on lawns and this was in cooperation with the police they could spot things that the normal police in their cars can not. It is too bad this program is shot as it really works and cut out problems in the neighborhood. A good example was a lady who is dead well anyway she the community policeman to get help and we cleaned up around the fence and helped to cut the Drugs next door. I know this situation caused jealleosy amoung the fellow officers but it sure did the job. it even worked as a liason with the schools to cut the troubles. All we have is old people and we are getting to old and tired and we can not get new people to come in but when we had the Liason of the neighborhood police to help get organized and it was good training for the policeman as he or she got to know where the trouble spots were and could do a little organizing to to do something with out everything going to hell before the City will do something. Oh well I hate to see something go down hill that was good but that is the way things seem to go.
