age of people that left Africa

Some of the stuff that I have been watching on TV and the people leaving Africa seems to be in confusion. I read where the Modern Human left Africa aproximately 50 k years ago. There is a show coming on Monday evening I believe 9 pm - and they are advertising that the two groups including the Neandertals and the modern man was together 200k years and they were going to discuss what went on. The Neandertal supposedly disappeared after 200k and that could happen to us. There are so many reports of when modern man came out of Africa that some of these shows cause confusion as what really happened and when. For instance Australa people were there 50 k years ago. I guess these programs do make people think as to what really went on and when. I think that it is high class TV Compared to some shows. and I really enjoy them. It would be interesting for the people that produce these shows, to get the data together and present them with out distorting the facts as the Scientist sees them. Don
