a new nasa

I wonder if there is not a need for a new NASA. It seems like they are stuck in space exploration and forgetting about aviation in general. We need a simple supersonic transport that does not have the noise and the other side affects. It appears from what I have been reading theat NASA have started ot close out some research labs etc. I can not put my finger on anything but it seems from reading aviation weekly that some of this stuff is happening. Or maybe we need a research lab like the old Bell Tel Labs where they allowed the researcher to go any direction that they want and out of that they brought out things like chips used in the computers and other so call wierd ideas that are normal. I am unable to think of the right words but maybe if people that read this blof would go back in history and read what Bell labs did with their leadership in research into wierd ideas that are nolonger wierd and we are using them today. Maybe that is what is needed in research that is needed but not for a spacific purpose like industra wans today. I do not know whether I got my idea acrosse but I am trying as we need research insto business aviation,locomotives pulling freight, and fuel efficient trucks pulling freight not just 5 miles to the gallion but 35 miles per gallon. Where is the research into some of these items. I quit for this evening hope somebody finds a way to do these things. Also after a thought we need space ships that are not chemical rockets . Imagination and skill should go together if we can find the people and not just kill our brains on the battlefield. Civilization definetly needs to change. I see where a crazy moslem is tring to lead their people into a civil war in England. It is too bad that energy can not put to peaceful purposes. Enough of thie heavy stuff - luck don

The human body

A question - if the human body has so much feed back systems then how can doctors think they can find what is wrong with a person. We have many feed back systems in the human body. A doctor has to be taught the different feed back systmes if they was to figure out what is wrong with a person. They run test for individual systems like the heart etc yet there are many controlls that effect the heart. For instance - person can take a drop of blood and check for blood sugar content but many things seem to effect the amount of sugar in the blood at any one time. A person can be infected and the reading will be high yet the Kidneys are not the problem only the problem is maybe the kidneys may be working harder to try and clean the blood and of course the readings are higher.Exercise seems to have a lot of control as to what kind of readings will the individual get.Yet what does a doctor give the person with the high readings but pills to counter act the readings in blood sugar yet that is not the answer.As I said in starting this article - the body is made up of many feedback systems and there ought to be study made of the different paths. This reminds me of a radar set that I worked on once- They would run individual cabinet outputs and say they worked but that was not the answer as the output of one cabinet would be fed into another and the pulses would add or even subtract to order to get certain output to make it work. The out puts of one cabinet would even shape the input of the pulse to set up a proper I will call match. Yet the individual output could not be use to trouble shoot what was wrong with the radar set. the human body works the same way and consequently the individual tests would not in many cases tell what is wrong with a person. It is like ring around the rosy - the question becomes where is the Rosy and or the Rose. It is too bad I can not write straight forward but I guess I do not know enough but am learning. Don

The vice presidency

I have a question- I guess I will not get the answer in this blog. Is the Vice president -the active president and Bush just the figure head? It seems like Cheney is the president elect and is the pusher for all the answers to the public with his so call speeches. How can we elect 2 presidents and that is what it has been. It was originally stated that since Bush was brought in that Cheney would be the brains of the administration and along with the cohorts of cheney and Rumsfeld would be the Governement. Overall this has been the most stupid bunch that we have ever had in Washington. In some ways the troubles have been a repeat of the Reagan bunc who had a bunch of crooks in his.I can not believe that the Republican Party would sell out this country but that is what has happened along with the Bush administration has done. What has happened to the so call intellignece of the American people. I have been writing such stuff as this for several years and nobody has done anything about the troubles. Now we even have a supreme court that is selling the American people out. What can be done before we no longer have a free country. Read history if the churchers get too much power then our freedom is gone. Religions is one of the most destructive forces for the average person. Just remember the middle ages. Before people could get freedom back they had to change religions. Now these people in charge are using religion to destroy the people. This has nothin to do with Cheney or does it. As he has stated that he is above the law and does not have to obey the law. Cheney can sell out the American people and there is not any retribution on him and his cohorts. Enough as started to ramble and get away from the subject. Of course the vice president is only as strong as the so call president will allow or is too ignorant to understand. It must be that we have an ignorant president and maybe as I always thought like Regan that was just a figurehead. Growth of the military

What brings this to mind is the news on I believe on CNN that the military can not get minorities to volunteer even though they offer the big bucks for signing up in the so call volunteer military. Who wants to sign up for a so call volunteer military to go to Iraq to die. Why don't we be honest and admit that we all the big pay cannot get people to sign up. I see where they have lowered the requirements and increased the age to 42. If we are going to go to war then we should institude the draft again. We cannot just let the President decide to go to war with out the consent of the American People. That is the situation that we are in now. As long as there are few or no casulties then people will volunteer and go to college. As it turns out it appears that we do not have good generals that know what they are doing. Just like the CIA that have gone wild with out the direction of the American people. We need a Government headed by a President that starts to use their head instead of the feet for brains. It is too bad that we elect stupid people into our government but that is what we did this last go around with the Republican Party. It is too bad Nobody reads this but at least I am stating my opinion and it sure seems to come true. Don

About the Kennedy's

In Time Magazine this week there are a series of articles about John F Kennedy. I heard one of younger Kennedy's on one of the shows that I listen to. To get to the point the news are bring out more and more information about the CIA and the defense dept and their problems and their ideas about going to war. I will get to the point - My first point is that I always had the idea that the CIA killed JFK. There is not any proof about this idea but some information has been hidden to the American public. They are bringing out info on the CIA more and more not just books written about these ideas. The Republicans and their ideas about always going to war does not seem like the right idea. (WE need a TR ROOVELT about our anti trust laws>) We have really voted in some fools. Our Religious right instead of helping this country with Religion has helped to destroy this country. Anyway back to the Kennedy"s , it is strange how this country needed some liberals to make this country into something. Big business is not good for this country. I admit we need some corporations but it seems like it is not good for this country since all they want is big big profits and cheap labor who can not buy anything except on cred and that leads to slavery. People please read about what is going on in Washington and think things out before you vote. Please read about the Kennedys and their ideas. They may not be so bad after all. Maybe a little sex with the so call conservatives would help straighten out this country. It does seem the best leaders has to have extra martial sex to succeed. I wonder why that is . I would not do it but it does seem to go hand in hand with real leadership that or alcohol.it is good even though we are at war - the thr truth is starting to come out about CIA and the defense dept. On heart problems

Questions on how Doctors check out a person. I am referring to the fact they apparently do not have any means to check out the electrical system of the human body. I still wonder if are trained wrong. Step by step is not always the answer. Maybe too much Psycology and too much they are Gods. Things always seem to have to go bad before they know what to do or the direction to go. Maybe they need to be Practising engineers before they become doctors. An engneer has to to learn to think not just go step by step. An engineer has think out the process before he can build well maybe if the Doctors had to think out the Hunam body before he treated the individual- he might come up with the solution to the health probems. I am going in circles but have been trying to bring out a solution to chasing health problems. I do not always know the words but sometimes I can figure things out. These things keep coming to why I have my problems but guess I do pretty good for my age and experience. Don

A blog on my incident on my health

I will try again to write this as I lost my original draft. Yesterday for about 50 minutes - my heart apparently slowed down real slow. Matter of fact I became very very weak and tried to feel my pulse matter of fact I could not feel any pulse. I started a procedure that I have use in the past and that is slow deep breathing and try to get myself going.The one thing in my favor is that I knew my sone was coming home and he is a very knowledgeable person from his experience in the military and I knew that I would get help. He came in the door and I explained my problem and he looked at me and said I was getting cold and clammy.I knew that I was in trouble as my vision was getting weaker. I asked him to call my Doctor and the good Doctor told him to call 911. Which he did . The Fire Dept got here very fast and checked my Readings and they said they could not get any readings. ( I forgot my son check by blood pressure etc and could not get any readings.) EMS got gere and got funny reading along with the news that I did not have to get a ride in an ambulance so maybe to save money. I told them to go ahead and five me a ride to the Hospital Emergency room . They hooked me up and gave me fluid etc and hauled me to the hospital. One thing about using the EMS is they get a person into the medical profession and they get started where as possibility I would have to sit in the waiting rooom. Although for Heart problems- they generally get a person in right away. As have stated in the past - after a half an hour - my pulse and blood pressure readings get back to almost normal. They gave me my pills that I normally take and after some rest and over night stay the readings were back to normal. These doctors discussed what to do with me as this condition has happened 4 or 5 times in the last 5 years.. They finally thought of a new deal and that was to check my heart and the veins in my kneck sonically. As far I could tell in talking with operators they could not tell me anything that was wrong but they did not tell me anything. The doctors did not tell me the results. they were going to find some way of checking me out electrically but they decided to send me home. I did feel real good so I was glad that was their decision. There is many controls on the Heart, - chemically, electric and of course mechanically. People are used to the term of pacemaker - which is like a capaciter which charge up and down as needed by the heart to get going again or even to level off the way it operates - there is a muscle in the heart that operates like s capaciter. Anyway back to myself- the doctors seem to think that maye I had an electrical problem- and they thought of some way to find out but they did not go about it any way to discover if I had such a problem and decided to send me home. This has been an experience and maybe I will learn something. I will have to keep track of future events in checking my heart so that this does not happen again or I can get help before it it too late. Don

Questions on Iraq etc

There I believe an Rep that suggested that we bring back the Draft. I believe there was someone that said that American people really do not know what is going on or at least not interested. If we are going to go to war then it is time we instituted certain things. One - the draft, 2. We have to pay for the war,- everyone has to get involved if we want to go to war. Please read the history of Empire and find out what happened to the empire after the people were no longer involved and there was a socall professional military and the military belonged to the Emporer not to the people. It is like they say now- these people volunteered and there for the people have nothin to say for it.People are thinking they do not have to pay or have anything to say if there is not a citizen army. Most of these troops are in because they were promised college education not a professional military person. These people are doing a fantastic job but these people signed up because of false impressions of what they will get. Can we afford war anymore with the tax structure of the rich and big corporations not paying for it. We have trade policy that is financing the war on terror. If we keep on bringing in Cheap labor so that Big corporations can make a big profit how can this country survive. There has to be Teddy Roosevelt out their some where that put this country back on some even footing. I am starting to Ramble. Don

President Bush and Mexico

There is a story out now why Bush wants the so call reform bill passed. he is paying back for the backing of converting US state into part of Mexico. It seemed like when he was the Gov. of Texas that if he promised certain things he would get elected president.I do not know how true this story goes but he is apparently following order to convert this country to essentially slave labor for the large corporation. he trying his best to to convert this country to Spannish speaking people. I can not believe what is comining out but he sure is destroying this countryl Even our so call research programs are going overseas. We no long have jobs for Research engineers .So Again Mr Bush is following orders and trying to destroy this country. Right or wrong English is what made this country and it is going down the drain. A bi lingueal nation does not make this a great country. People lose things that made this country - being able to converse and effectively honestly understand one another.Converting one language into another - the ideas come out different and we effectively lose one another.Oh well have fun- confusion is the name of the game as people lose their statut. Sex affenders -

Sex offenders is the only crime where people are tied up for life. The so call repeat offender is one of the lowest rates of any felony. But it does make for good politics and people like district atty. can get reelected. The worst repeaters are people that rob. Do these people get life sentences. What is really wrong with our criminal situation is our lousy grade school system. I have been in class with grade school teachers and in some writing all they bring up sexual problems and that is because they are trained in so call Psychology instead of history,geography, penmanship,etc They are the ones that is destroying our youth with their low levels of classes and letting them reach their so call levels. In affect - they are promoting young people into sex offenders. All felons should have a right to an honest life if they can get by 10 years with out getting into trouble. Matter of fact these people could be tied up in court with out having a felony tied to their lives. I told a state legislature the other day that if they changed grade school to old way of the 1930's crime rate would probably drop 30 percent. I guess somebody suggested that students get paid for getting better grades but that will not work unless there is a change in education so cal profession. Oh well as long as people can be used as mob to push for certain laws intead of trying to honestly find answers to our problems- they will vote for certain people who will continue to destroy our country. I am referring to our huge national,state debt and of course to our growing prison population and our registered felons population. Computers are great but they can be destructive too. enough Don

The Kennedy brothers

There is an interesting book by David Talbot about the Kennedy's brothers that bring up an interesting comment. it brings up the comment that the intelligence Community has something to do with their assassinations. it is interesting in the fact that I thought the same thing. it was always in my impression that Marilyn Monroe was killed by these same people instead of self destruction. These people did not turn loose all the info on the assassination of the Kennedy' and this author brings out the info that they could have been involved. Look at how they were involved in the secrets that was with held from the public. Just think the role that they had with the iraq war and the 9 11 intelligence that was with held from the Public. Because along with the FBI they knew who the people that were suicide bombers. The problems is the secretcy eventually brings out the truth. I thoght I would make a comment. I admit I am a loner but some of my ideas eventually get other people interested. I admit there is some people in our government that does not want to tell the People the truth. it really has been proven. I see where General Casey ( I believe that is His name ) has resigned because Of not wanting to Maybe telling the truth over a congress under the democrats that was the truth. It is too bad that the Republican lied to the American people about their control of the the Government the last 6 years. As I have said- Clinton lied about Sex but The republicans have lied about the way they have run our Government and lied about what they did. Oh well. We are now another 2 or 3 trillion dollars in debt before the American people lcomes to their senses. Engough Have fun.
