Self education- and schools, etc

I heard on tv about a problem on the school. Of course if they are like the school board here who are trying to push Religion ahead of a truly education. Oh well that is not why I am writing this. I have been self taught person for a long time. I use to buy books on different subjects. I rmember seeing on TV about Tsumbes ( maybe spelled wrong) that killed several 100 thousand in Indonetia and the surrounding area. I being interested got me a book on them and ow they were formed. ( they have killer waves that seem to come out of nowhere now that sailors talked about and the Scientists did not believe them for a long time. )Anyway back to these waves and where they come from- Things like land slides, Earth quakes and the list could go on. I am bringing this up that is people would start using this method instead depending on so call teachers and school systems that really do not work. I have been doing this all my life reading about subjects that I eithor did not know or did not understand but willing to put my own time on the subject. The other way is start going to organizations like the Local Archeology groups and just listen to their speakers, and use that as a bais of a starting point to try to grasp. Then maybe people could see where things come from. For instance there are local Astromony clubs where they eithor have speakers and Telescopes to see the stars. There are show on TV like the science channels that give if nothin else an inkling to the subject and again that could be start for going into science and may be taking courses at the local school. I remember I use to be in Politics and I got into a meeting with some of the local leaders about troubles in the area and looking for solutions- I was lucky in that these people actually were looking for Solutions instead of hate groups to win an election. I took my oldest son to one meeting and he said that they really made a person think. I do not know whether this what him into learning as he is in Management for a big corporation. This is what a family can do to educate themselves and not wait on socall schools and teachers to teach them or should say to lead them into hier education. I do not know if what I am writing makes sense but this has been my approach all my life. Maybe some day actually I can learn but in my case I am a slow learner and it takes me awhile to picture what is going on. Enough said Don

Power of the Big Corpoorations

I don not suppose that people understand what the big Corporation have over the Politicians
but how many people actually watch the news for Meat and Potatos. I hear where BP Got the Lockerby bomber out of Jail and back to Lybia. The BP Corporations were promised areas of drilling if we would find a way to turn this killer loose. This gentleman(killer) was turned loose on the basis of health. If that whick was a joke and now he is a hero in Lybia. it is the same in this country. That oil company that was fined up to supposed 100 billion dollar but the court overturned the edict to charge them only 100 million. That did not pay for the damage to the Alaskan sea shores that put many fisherman out of business and also destroyed many animals that live along the Seashore. Do these Corporation give a care what happens to people and they just want to make huge profits and pay no taxes and of course want cheap labor. Eventuall it will go the Route of the Roman empire and the rich will have huge mansions but the average person will be slaves. and we will have to go thru a 1000 years of being nothin. yet people will not out these people that are destroying everything. One of my Relatives voted Republican and yet he is out of work as they transferred his job over seas. I wonder will the American people ever wake up before it is too late. Oh well as old as I am what can I do anymore. I guess I can write like I am doing. Don

New ideas and things to happen in Space

You know I hope I live another 20 years to see some of new explorations and events happening in space program. I see where the Russian are building a new space exploration base. They are not the only ones. Just think of what the Japanese, Indians, the Koreans and I could go on and on. Even small countries like Israel are putting satelites in Orbit. It is an interesting life for people th think about going to Space. As they said on one broadcast this globe will have to think about some other Planet to go to because on of these the human race will go like the Dynsaors, and other animals have gone. We are getting such a huge population that one of these days we kill ourselves. Just think of what the Atomic Bomb in 1945 to Japan, I saw Haroshima ( probably spelled it wrong) but it was a flattened area and this was after the war was over with. They have bombs that would make that bombs look like the old 3 inch that we used to put under cans to see how high it would go. It is to bad that people cannot learn to get along with each other. Power hungry people whether it is thru the Religions or otherwise will in the end help destroy our civilization. The key to destruchtion could be the lack of water, for the huge populations. But back to the Space exploration I would love to be alive to see it and maybe feel it. We have a long way to go because I remember working for a company that was trying to use atomic power to power an airplane but the led was too thick for it to work. Dharles Koch Company

I was listening on TV and I came to my ears about the Koch family. It seems like they are supporting like Fox news, and the so call conservative foundattions that are going against the American people. They are supplying the money for the Republicans who favor the very rich like President Bush put on thru the Republican control of Congress a fewe years ago. How can this family who makes his money in the United States favor politicians that are bent on the destruction of this country. I remember a few years ago- I was taking a Speaking class at WSU and one of students in his speech brought up a point about the employees got together and supported the Republican Candidates. I do not know how much money was raised, from what I gather - it was at least several thousand dollars. Looking back now I wonder the Koch family did not finance the money that they gave. It would not be the first time something this happened. I realize that one of the Reasons that the Koch family has so much money is simple they in reality do not pay taxes in proportion to their income. If this country is to survive then these people has to start paying taxes. Otherwise the country is finished. Just think with out the taxes on the very rich, this country is now I believe 9 or 10 Trillion dollars in debt. Their big income does not hire peopl and in a sense the way works- the taxes on the average person goes sky high whether it is local or Federal taxes. I often wonder in writing this blog whether it does any good at all but it does makes feel better that I am helping to spread the knowledge around. Goldman Sachs ?

From I hear Goldman Sachs got by with out really being stuck but left in shape to do what they did . What is the matter with our Congressman. We need another Teddy Roosevelt- a man that has the guts to shape up our crooked Corporations. From a crooked Supreme court where the average person get the troubles resolved. As I said the Corporations have bought and paid for our government- Our So called Congressll people who really do not represent their constituens but people do not realize what they are voting for. They listen to TV too much and not do any individuals thinking and learn what is going on. I really expect our country to under if the people do not wise up and start to vote for Representatives who would trule represent their Constituents. Oh well I wonder how much longer this country can survive.

tax cuts amd the average person

I heard on TV a multibillion dollar owner except for the Republicans and President Bush would have paid 500 million dollar from his estate. Yet the Republican Senator keep saying that the average worker ought have his wages cut and of course along with this is the local taxes go up If the worker is going get less pay then how can the worker pay increased taxes whether It is the Federal Government to pay for the wars that they putting us in and of course local taxes to keep the police dept, the Fire Department, and all the other essentials to keep our local and state Government going. In the State of Colorado due to the Tax structure they are starting to lay off Policeman, Firemen, etc. If we do not tax the rich there is not any hope for our government whether local, state or Federal. The republicans want to get rid of Medicare, Social Security, etc so the rich can get richer. Do the American people want another Black period like the period from 400 CE when they were slaves to the church and to government. Remember when the Republican talk Tax Breaks it is for the ultra rich and more taxes an d lower wages for the working poor. Oh well what can I do?

Xray troubles on a Xray satelite

In the computer was a story about a xray that took 5 Billion years to reach us. A star exploded and the net result was the amount of Xrays that it sent out into space. It hit our satelite and even shut it down for a little while. This is interesting because it does give us an idea how large is the space that Stars and of Course Galaxies are in Space. I think I read somewhere that our Galaxie is a 100 million lite years in Diameter. I will have to study even for myself to see if that is right. I guess if we are to go to Space we will have to find some way of going of going faster than speed of light. Light they did in Star Wars, etc. This was really interesting to me as I have almost wondered how we wouldbe able oh well.go to Space. Just think there are a Pair Satelites than have been going out - I believe 15 years and we are lucky that we are still in Communication with them. They do not have much power but we have some super antennas. About 50 or so years ago I drank with engineers from what was Lockheed Aircraft and some of them was taking correspondence Courses from Werner Von Braum. It was hard to remember but we discussed the Red light and how they figured Distances. I believe they used at that time FM Detectors to figure the distance. It was the shift in the Frequency that read. The discussion was how Satelites went to Orbit by going around the Earth in Orbit. In a sense I have led an interesting life and in my age I believe it has kept me going all these years. Enough of memories and learning curves.But I thought that the Xray took 5 billion years to reach Earthr and it was strong enough to Black out one of our satelites for a little while.

Women in supervisoy positions

One of the things that I have noticed is when the Women gain a position of Supervisor - they hire nothin but Women. And in many cases they use sex as a wheapon against men if they do hire a man. Just look at the men in politics that have hired women and what happened - a few times they have had babies. There was a man who ran for the President and what happened to him- he got his Doctor's wife pregnant. He wound up di vorsing, she got a divorse and he had to quit politics and running for office. There was another case where the man was running for the Presidency and the lady was involved and he wound up having a baby and quit politics.Is it dangerous for a man to hire a woman or visa versa.Maybe there is a problem with men and women working together and going after a common goal. Where there is close contact even very intimate contact. I have worked with women but made it official with me not to get involved. It kept me out of trouble but there was a case when there was a bowling league and people got to know one another. well anyway this lady turned on me and in some ways made my life meserably. I could go on. We have cases where they hire women in national government and have learned to keep their hands and minds to themselves. Enough said.

what have Moslem men got against women

In Moslem countries women are treated worse than dogs. Is there something in the Koran that says women should be treated this. The world needs educated women. In many ways they are smarter than men. I wonder if men are not really Jealosy of the smarts that women have especially Moslem men. There was a German lady that was a famous mathetician that could have helped Germany get the atomic bomb but thankfully I understand she was forced to leave.
In countries like Afgasitstan there are huge groups that do their best to leave Women uneducated I understand this is also true for Pakistan. I understand there are some changes in Saudi Arabia about letting women do things. It is amazing world that a religion tries to keep Women in slavery. If we are to survive on this globe we will need all the help we can get, because one of these days we go like the Dynsoars we will disappear like they did and die out. I am not sure what will follow the so call humans just the death of the Dynasoars allowed mamals to take over this globe. Is thre something wrong with Religions that allows this type of operation against fellow human beings? Wjat brought this to mind is what is going on in Afghaston about the treating of women by the Taliban. This is a country that needs all the help it can get and men alone will not do the job. I have seen organizations that that depend upon men alone go down hill apparently unless maybe they are drinking buddies. Oh well I wonder if the world will ever change. Enough said.

I belong to an organization that has people like the Republicans that all they know is a key word "no"This organization just like the Republicans are trying to destroy everything. Just think if the Republicans had their way they would destroy Social Security. Medocare amd theJust think rest of the social programs that Roosevelt fought to give to people in the Glorius 30's. I wonder if the people that are on medicare realize what the Republicans are planning to do. Is this country going crazy or will country going to last

I am really wondering how long country is going to last. Just like President Bush went to war in Iraq with out paying for it. I think the debt went up 3 trillion dollar. I think Reagan did the same thing and he went 3 trillion dollars in debt. Now they have thing going thru Congress that will illiminat anybody with a Sex Effender from getting Unemployment insurance. .Look at the Crap on TV that pushes sex and then they wonder why they country is going to the dogs.
The Republicans are talking about stopping the Social Security and Medicare and people are falling for the garbage that they are putting out of their mouths. Are Americam People going to wake up before they are slaves and running the streets with an empty stomach to boot. I see where Representative Bachman of Minnesota is running around screaming this stuff yet what I understand her district is 10 percent unemployment. If a person makes a mistake and does something that has been going on for eternity - what should they do? There are so many people trying to cover up for the Corporations that this is what's wrong with this country. I think TV has been the downfall of this country. It could be used for something good but is it. People fall for the garbage that is on TV including the so call comidians hat use Canned Laughter to make people think that is funny. It is just too bad how low this country is getting. Just happen to think, one of the reasons that the jobs are going to Canada is simple - they have Government health insurance. Why they are going to Mexico is low wagels but if you notice - one of the reasons that these people are coming north is simple- better education, health insurance, and of course they are not shot down by the drug gangs although it is getting worse in this country all the time. I think there was a 13 year old boy that was shot over a gang probllem and then of all things a Mexican flag was draped over his casket. I think in some of these articles i am repeating myself but it seems like things keep on repeating themsleves and the American public does not seem to understand what is goin on. Enough said.

Oil wells in the Gulf

There was a news broadcast of about anywhere from 9000 to 27 thousand capped oil wells the Gulf. I do not know how true it is but I suspect a lot of is true. The story goes that the oil companies have capped these wells are waiting for pices to go higher. If this is true why we keep on buying oil from the Countries that support Terrisom. We even keep on subsidizing the oil companies. I realize that have bought the politicians in Washington and the American people apparently are too ignorant to know what is going on and maybe do not care to learn the education such as listening to news Broadcast that tell these stories. It maybe that the Truth is Stranger than Fiction. I listen to Politicians that scream about the economy in the wrong way that people actually vote for these Rabble Rousers. Anyway back to the Oil, and I hope that it is not too late for people to honestly learn about the Oil situation that there is more oil than the world knows what to do. Apparently People are fooled by these politicians. When are the people going to wake up and vote for people that will work for the United States. If this oil wells capping is real why has the news Media reported it before or have some of the News Media which is owned by large Corporation not allowing their Reporters to actually broadcast the real news or even the local news outlets telling the people the truth. I wonder what the real price of oil would be if they actually uncapped these wells and sold the oil on the American Market.Would the Saudi's and the Chinese actually own our national debt like they do at the present. Enough said- do some research and find out if the info is true of what I am writing about.

European Helicopters and the thankers

I wonder how long can the American Tax Payer affor supporting the word in such things as the Refueling tankers and now Helicopter for the American Military. If we do not buy these planes from American Companies what will happen to the workers even though part of the work force would go south to lower paid workers. Can we afford this constant effort of knocking American companies out of business. I slaw in the Paper where for instance the 787 had to have parts redo in Seattle due to the quality of the parts. We have around 10 percent or more unemployment. Who will pay for the imports ( essentially) that are subsidized by the European Governments. This global trading could have bad effects as proven already by the unemployment issue. Do these companies have to have the same employment rules as the American companies. Remember These government furnish health benifits to their employees and that includes Canada. It is apparently true due to the profit margin that American Companies to pay off their Stock holders. This one one of things that caused the Recession that has been going on. My impression like Canada, England etc they furnish the citizens of their countries health benifits. What can be done to equalize the overhead of American companies and the European Companies? These questions ought to asked and answered and try to do something about it. For instance the Republican party is trying to destroy Medicare, Social Security, etc can we survive all these possible changes. Again there has to be a level ground between American Companies and the European Companies. I see where the Eurpean Governments and countries like Argentina are having similar problems over farm products.
All these operation may bring world Government into being but there is not anything in UN that would force some real changes. Of course there are some real Government projects that failling such as the Governments in Africa. Maybe these governments were better off when they were inder control of the European Government. These ideas could go on for Ever if these ideas ever take ahold of a World Government with enough force to stop these troubles. Enough said and somebody say SoWhat

who is going to own the southwest

There was a report due to the amount of Mexicans that the American Southwst will belong to Mexico. When ever we go to a store all we hear is Spannish from these people. It is just like that 13 year old boy that died and a Mexican flag was put over his casket. Are these people American or what. It is a strange thing what is happening all over the world. Even in Germany they talk about the Turks as not being German.It is too bad the with the melting world that we can not become citizens of the country that they go to. The way the world transportation is going who does these people represent. In the bible there was a story about the Tower of Babel and the people could not get along the story is the Babel become all the different Races and groups. Just think so many of these people even born in this country can not Speak English and able to in interpret what is going on. As I have said in watching these people work - they do a very nice job.I guess time will tell what will come out of this mess- where these people do not take on the nationality of the country that they immigrate to whether legal or as so many people have crossed the border from Mexico illegally. The population is changing and some cases the worse is coming out like the Mexican dope gangs and young people in gangs killing one another. In so many cases they are some of the lowest people in our schools. I think in some cases the parents have to believe in education. I am not sure but the religion is a factor in that is why the levels of these people are so low. Oh well I am not sure I am getting my point acrosse but it does go back to the home life. Raising of children

I was reading an article about Killer whales and raising of you Killer whales. It got me thinking ( should I say Ha, Ha )but the point that came out of the article was that the older Killer whales Mother were more successful in raising young.;It made me think how does that apply to Humans. We have litterly thown out all the older people as far as any influence on younger lives. Matter of fact if you look at the care homes or appartments where strictly oler people live , there is a real absence of younger people. These people are kept isolated from the world and no longer have much to say. Matter people in these place, it seems mentally go down hill. At one time these people had a say in how young people were raised. It takes time to learn and young people today are no different. From my experience it really has taken time because as people know, it seems like they have to go through many experiences before they learn what is going on. I do not mean just to memorize a few sentences and call it learning. It is just like all the Mfging plants throwing all the older people out for younger people mainly it is because of health problems that they do not to pay for. I remember a friend that after her huisband died the children treated her like a dog. I think in the end they finish destroying her mentally. There is another thing that I have run into and that is after a husband reaches a certain age , the Wives do everyting to do all the thinking for him. So in the end these women destroy their husbands mentally and the man goes down hill.Maybe it is time to put older people back to work instead of out to Pasture and make use of their knowledge. It reminds me of another story as there was not many space engineers and I believe it was MIT that borought back some Professors that was 92 years old in order to get our space program going. Grandma was teaching one of her Grandchildren to play the Piano and just because the little girl got tired of practising she decided to quit taking lessons. Instead of the Mother telling her daughter to continue she allowed her to quit and the end of young protoge. There is enough storied about the use ( proper use) of older people. There is a need to us these people's experience and education. Enough said.

science fiction or not

I am kinda high strung but will get over it. I can not remember was it last night or night before last. I do not worry the Earth will collapse for the so call human being. Churches will not change anything. It reminds me of the Viking in Greenland back in the I believe the 13th Century when the climate was changing. It seemed like the Priests told the people that everything would be all right. The climate did change and all the human with their Religion could not change anything. Matter of fact many people died in Europe as crops could not grow.
Scientist have been exploring the active volcans and it is expect it could be in next 300 or 400 years. The last sentence does not make sense because they did learn to grow potatoes and that
was the begining of the eating of potato . The present day scientist are checking out the many active Volcans and they found what could be super volcano. Like that the possible Volcano in the Park in Wyoming that supposedly go off every million years or so. The big thing that I writing this is all the Religions fighting and hating one another instead of learning how to get along. I have an issue on Foreign Affairs and they write about sad sack counries in Africa. Why can not these people learn to get along with one another. In some cases it is not the people but the rulers who strip the countries for their confort. Even in this country religion is used to make it so a certain group of people can sell out their constitients to big Corporations. Well just think we will get buried by the action of the Volcanos . It is strange that without these Volcano there would not be a Earth to live for the Socall human Race. It will be just the Dynasoars who had their time on Earth. There are many things in Nature that can destroy the Human Race when their time comes to say AdiosInstead of waging war over every little thing we need to Push for greater Harmoney and learn to get along with one another one simple fact is that it looks like we will have to go to space .

Autobile accident

I lost the first one that I was typing in and here I thought I did a pretty good Job. I will try again and see I can succeed. Back to the accident that happened the other day. I made a left hand turn and matter of fact I had the car completely turned going south. A Motor cycle rammed into the Rear Panel on the right hand panel. Matter of fact the was going so fast that he comepurned me around and the car flew a few feet in a different direction. The light had I believe turned yellow and I think the rider was trying to make the yellow light. l do remember watching out of the corner of my eye and saw he race the motor real fast and like a race driver fly throu the light. After hitting me he flew 30 feet and was hurt pretty bad. He did about 4700 dollars damage on my car. I got a ticket for turning left and the rider of the motorcyle was hurt. He was not wearing a helmit whether that would have saved or not I do nit know. The next thing that will talk about is the reactions of the Police in their investigation. My impression is that they make up their mind who is gulty and go from there. Supposedly they had a couple of witnesses thaty saw the accident and that is what they went on. I had a witness who came to me and said she saw the whole thing but the police refused to talk to her. They told me they had enough witneses to talk to. In other words they decided who was guilty and reufse to talk to the lady that told me that they saw the whole thing. Supposedly they were going to send an officer to check out this lady 's story as to what she saw but this was a day later when we called the police told them of what happened. I have watched TV shows where they have hired Investigators to investigate the even for their TV shows. The DA and the police have always said the party of guilty regardless of the facts in many cases was with held so they could the one party that they convicted was guilty regardless of the situation. I think what the problem is that they make up their mind as to who is guilty regardless of the facts that could be found out. I feel better is writing this and will see how the Insurance company investigation turns out. I hope that I havev't bore who ever read this but it is done. Don

Autobile Accident

I had an accidet the other day that was quite an experiece . I was making a left hand turn where this gentleman rammed me in the right rear Panel and really turned me around. I feel I know what this Mororcyle was trying to do. That was to make the lite that had turned yellow.

He was not going 25 mph as he really did a lot damage to my car. He knocked me for aways and turned me around. If you notice during a wind storm when straw is flying and it was seen where The Straw was driven into and even a through a tree. They have this experience in Space where the stuff is flying around Earth at somewhere around 12000 miles per hour. If the object is going fast enough even though it is like a motor cycle due to the speed it can do much damage. The cyclist flew about 30 or 40 feet. He was hurt pretty badly. Now talk about the investigation the police of course checked by breath to see If I had been drinking. I have not had a drink for several years and to be truthful I sometimes miss the pleasure of having an After meal drink. Anyway to the Investigation . The police found a couple of so call witennes's that made me look bad. I had a lady come forth and tell me she saw the accident but the police refused to talk to her. I think they finally sent a policeman after we called the police to interview. I do not know what she told them or how the interview did. I think the attitude of the police is that they make up their mind as to who is guilty without actally really investigating what the real truth. I proably would not even gone into this except they gave me a ticket. This information has been turned into the Insurance company to get my car fix and to do their own investigation as to who is right or wrong. I have watched some of these shows on TV where they hire an investigaor to produce these shows. In most cases the Diistrict Att. still say the party they put in prison was gulty regardless the the facts brought out. This includes the police who investigated the incident what ever it was. If the average person watches some thing what can they actually say went on. I kn ow I would have a hard time putting things together except in this case I was toally involved and I could not miss what was going on. The motorcycle driver in this case hit his gas and actually reaied up his rear wheel . I could not help but remember the incident pretty visually. Writing this blog helps me to put my emotions asise and really think what went on. actualy I was in shock for a little while and my son came and helped me with the paper work. enough said
