Texas and its attitude

It is strange that the Republican Governor of Texas keeps talking about separation from the US. Where would Texas be without Federal help. I am referring to highways, schools etc. The Republican Governour has said that he did not want Federal Dollars but it was mainly because of the extension of the unemployment Insurance. Are the Republicans so against the rest of the US that it wants to secede from the Union. What would Lockheed do without the Federal dollars that it has received. In the past Texas has had so many problems just like the rest of the US. This always reminds me of Minnesota where the Republican Governour refused Federal dollars and said the people of Minnesota could get along without the money and would not repair the bridge on the Insterstate in Minneapolis and of course the Bridge fell down and I do not remember how many people were killed and it took Federal money to replace the Bridge. Do these Governours have any feeling for their people that these Governours represent. I see where a Congressional Representative from Minnesota is always knocking the Democrats - yet her son joined one of those Volunteer organizations so where was Mother and her attitude. I guess her Son is not representing his Mother anymore. Don

World Government

This world needs a world Government to control some the troubles that never seem to stop. Right now there is problems brewing in the Balkans in the old Yugoslavia area. These people do not know how to get along with one another. Part of the problem is these small governments have to have all the Ministers that larger entities have and it does not work as the area does not have enough Tax structure to pay the bills. Plus in their little wars that tend to become larger wars. Was not it in 1914 that the the Arch Duke I believe got killed and it started ww1 that dragged in most of the countries and even in the end US. I believe that it was in 1944 that an American running for President proposed a World Governmen and it did not work encluding all the UN's etc that is supposed to bring nations together. Just look at what is happening in this country with the Republican party basically representing Big Business and the Democrats representing people. The Republicans are pushing just a no for the interest of the Big Business in the case of National health care and people not recognizing what they are for are being pushed into helping to destroy this country into smaller sections and then we will have a Balkan problem in this country. There are too many North Korea's in this globe and they will cause new problems. I am rambling so will quit and my thoughts do not make sense. Don

world government

I have written about this subject and yet there does not seem like another writer that is involved in this area. An area that badley needs this help is the Balkans. It must be remembered that the War of 1914 started here. We have the breakup of Yugoslaviaa that has created a situtation that brought about the Dayton agreement. According to the the Foreign Affairs of Sept issue things are starting to happen in this area as the Countries are too small and most of the taxes are going big government so it seems. I have written about this subject when in 1944 a man ran on this subject when he ran for President of the US

Failed states

In National Geogeraphic magazine dated Sept 2009 there is an article about Failed States talking about Somalia being one of the biggest Failed States. In reading the newspapers - is that not where the Pirates are coming from? It was quite interesting to me as I see where this could apply to the United States. We elected the wrong President with George Bush and he really helped destroy our country along with the Crooked Republican Party who sold out to Big Business. Now we have at least 10 to 20 percent unemployment. The way things works or so it seem Big Business is like the War Lord of Somilia and other failed states. Big Business is destroying this country trying to make more profit so that the CEO's can make millions of dollars in salaries, etc and the Representatives that we elect to Congress does not seem to realize what is happening. How much longer can this country go on with out a Teddy Roosevelt to take over control and do something about the Crooks in Big Business that belong in Jail along with a bunch of Republicans. It is too bad people do not read or do research in good magazines besides go to Church that in many cases also feeds the people many untruths. One of the things lacking in a good education system. We also have young people in their own world that thave become pigs in looks and action. There is also another item that needs to be mentioned and that is the drug world. Someways people have forgotten how to take care of their own children besides giving them drugs. That is one of the problems with drug Gangs that now are spread over the United States. But this article in the Magazine that I memtioned sure brings to mind the many problems that are happeing in our country. But since it always looks like nobody every reads what I write but it does keep my mind operating and maybe if I write this- mentally there are other people that will think in a new way. Don
