Spector to the Democrats plus

I see where Sen Spector changed political parties to the Democrats. The Sen he could not win on the Republican party any more so he was switching. He said that the Republican Party was too far to the right and his philosiphy was not in that direction. It is too bad the Republican Party has gone the route that it has- beholden to Big Business and selling out the American Worker. I wonder how much longer this country would have survived under the Republican Party. Just think I was a Republican at one time but I could not see the destruction of this country by the Republicans. At one time they use to furnish leadership but that has gone down the drain. I have said we need another Teddy Roosevelt to break up the Big Corporations but the Republicans that have followed him has gone down the drain. The Republican party need new leadership not just anti abortion and certain Churches that have a certain philosophy. I think this is a two party system and somehow the Republican Party has to come back or a new Political party has to take ahold. I wonder if anybody has any ideas like I have. Don

Sebelis and the GOP -?

I wonder what is wrong with the GOP that they do not want to confirm her for the Job. What does Abortion rights have to do with the Job that Obama put her in for.I remember what the Republicans told the Democrats that Bush had a right to people that he wanted in his Cabinet. Why are the Democrats any different. Are the republicans really that desperate that they refuse to conferm her. The Republicans really have become desperate politicians. It is too bad with the Republican party = how far they have gone down hill. I wonder what can be done with the Republicans as this is a two party system but they are acting like really sore losers. They really are sore looser and under Bush and Reagan they put this country in a huge debt hole and yet they talk about the type of Government that they are for. It seems like they are the biggest liars that ever hit the Con gress or even the White House. enough as I really do not know what to do about them except vote against them every time they run for Political Office. Bush truth about iraq war

I wonder if Bush and his crew will wind up in Jail over the Torture Issue. Bush and his crew lied about the Iraq war and that was not using turture to get the CIA to lie about the war. as I have said before he and his crew belongs in Jail. I again do not see where the people can vote for Republicans. They are such a liars and It looks like as I have previously have said about selling out to big business and in the process of trying to destroy this country. Look what they have done besided putting our country 9 trillion dollars in debt and trying to enslave the middle class. It is too bad people do not start to read. If we had decent public schools that actually taught something besides Psycology or Sociology it might be different. It is too bad that people do not read my blogs and use the info. Oh well don

World Government

The story begins with the pirating off of African coast. What good is the UN? They seem like that They cannot control anything. There is a need for a world government with a world Military to stop9 these troubles. Most nations cannot seem to get along with anybody and there has to be a force that will control these troublels. The world cannot afford wars anymore and needs to go to Space if the human race is going to Survive. It is just like the war in Iraq and it is destroying the economy of these country and really it is causing a world depression. Wendal Wilkie in the 40's had it right with the need of a world government with a military force behind it. I wonder if the world will ever realize the need for a world Government. With my age I will never see it. I also wonder if the world will ever realize the need for laws that apply to mass of people on this planet. Don

The fiancial problem with this country

Now where do I start- There are one basic problem and that is the balloon gets bigger and it is put on the back of the working man. If the balloon keeps getting bigger and bigger then it has to burst some time. I will explain by talking about Northwest Airlines and this was a long time ago. The Management decided to take the company private by going in debt and I believe the figure was about 3 billion dollars in debt. Of Course the management made a fortune and the employees got stuck for the debt which they never were able to pay it off. This is the way all these companies have grown is by going in debt and the Management taking all the money and calling it profit so they could get huge boneses. This started about 1950 I think but somewhere this was the case. The Debt kept getting bigger and bigger and of the Course the the ballon was stretching so it has to burst somehow. Of Course they do not want to tax the big boys so the bills never get paid. Locally think of the Local Electric Company as they bought companies they got deeper in debt. The Management thought they could hit the custimer and up the costs blaming them for the Problem. The problem was the Management wanting big boness's which they got but in reality they did not earn. The local paper is in that situation and the last buyer is not I think I read is about 3 Billion Dollars in debt. They blame the fact that the advertisement is not there , too many employees and the wages too high, and they also blame the Health contract to the employees. The ballon based on Debt can only get so big with out something happening. That is the problem with this country. Management , management- should I repeat my self. Don

Sale of Boston Globe

I see by the news that New york time has priviously bought the Globe for 1 Billion Dollars. i guess it is all by the way big business works- They put the Globe in debt for a billion dollars. Why did they buy the paper if they did not mean it. Now the globe is a billion dollars in debt and of course it is pretty hard for the paper and it's employeees to make up for the debt by the New York Times. The people that sold the Globe for a billion dallers should have not sold it just to put it in debt. Why are the employees always stuck with the debt that management puts money in their pocket. This country has to change. The Employees help make the Billion dollars that the paper was sold for.If the companies that buy out other company do not have the cash in the bank then they should not be allowed to sell. This why so many companies are in debt- it is not the economy stupid management that is selling their employeees out the drain. Matter of fact these people that do these things ought to be put in Jail. I should do a better job of writing this but am tired this evening but the thought is there. Don
