15 year old girl killed herself over harrasment

There has been a story about a 15 year old girl killing herself. From reading the Articles, it seemed like the kids in school were giving her a hard time. from reading the Articles the SChool administration knew all about it. There were several incidents when My kids were in school that reminds me of the caliber of people that run our public schools. There was a situation in youngest daughter's class and this girl was insulting the teacher. I told the Teacher that he did not have to take that and his answer was - she was a future leader and that is the way she has to learn. I told the girl that was no way to talk to her teacher.
There was another incident where a Boy was beating up a girl and I told the teacher and he said that he could not do anything about. I went and stopped the the boy and his answer was that I was tough. I am not tough but the boy did stop beating up the girl.
Another time these boys who happened to be Drummers in the Band and they were talking while the director ( teacher) was trying to lead these kids into learning music and I said something about these kids and he said that he could not do anything about it. I told the kids to shut up and listen to the Teacher. It turned out that they did a good job once they shut up and listened Is there something wrong with our Public School teachers and Admistrators that allow these type of things to go on. The difference between private Religious school is simple - the students will listen and do it. There is something wrong with the type of people that go into public school teachers and administrators and or the type of education that they receive and it is not the money that is paid them, which I hear or read about. Money does not pay for Stupid people. Enough said - Don

Government

People ( mainly Republicans) are complaining about the health bill and other takeover by the Government. Just think with out the Government there would not be pure water or even enough of it. I was reading about a Company that took over a water deal in Africa and they used it for Commercial purposes and the people wound up without water. I do not know whether the Government took over but with out the government we would not have the water we drink. I admit that to keep the Pure water - we have to keep fighting. As it is known Government officials do sell out ot people in Government and the people loose out. Just like the Lobbyist in Washington - big money it seems like they buy and sell our congressmen. Even when Private companies like the Oil companies cry about the taxes and make Billions of Dollars, They still want Tax Breaks. This can on for ever as the Big companies will either buy out little companies or force them out of business as they do not want Competition as any sort. So they can control the price and quality of the consumer goods that are sold. I notice that Walmart advises low prices 's but after they get control of the market- their prices seem to go up. I admit that they have merchandise that is hard to find in other stores, I guess there is an advantage in going in Walmart. But again with out Government to enforce Standards there is not any Standards in the Commercial control of consumer merchandise. Even items for the military unless the Government enforces quality control ideas there is not any real quality control. Oh well i could go on as I had some experience along these lines. Don

Health insurance law

The Republicans have the idea that this Health bill will up the cost of Health Insurance. The way this country is going it would not surprise me for Different reasons. Remember these Corporations are deep in debt and they have the stripped the companies that they controll so what little money they make goes to pay the Debts. They have stripped the Benifits from lthe Employees and the Debt is one reason they are shipping jobs overseas. If there is not any money left over for the Employees who make the money then what can they do. I have written about this problem before and of course this country is going under do to these Corporations and the rich who do not pay taxes or their share. I think you can go back to days of the end of the Roman Empire where the average person became a slave. Slaves do not pay taxes and up grade the country. I am rambling so better quit. Don

Reagan problems when he was President

I got into a discussion the other day, I guess made a fool of myself. I mentioned that Reagan put us 3 trillion Dollars in debt. There happens to be a lady who is a pro Reaganite supporter. Get back to Reagan when he was president - he has a reputation that is infallible but go back to his problems when he was President. 1. He gave a tax break to the rich and that is what let in the huge increase . It is true that he spent Billions on National Defense but where did the money come from- pure borrowing and he never paid for the money spent. You can not give the rich a tax break and expect the bills to be paid. He had another problem that took a ton of money from the national debt and that was the Savings And Loan scandle( mispelled) wihci cost us at least 50 billion dollars. He built ships that the Navy did not have did not have sailors for. an if they did - they would not have money for the personal. I could go on said my piece and I guess I feel better it is too bad when I say something I hit people the wrong way. Oh well life is that way with the American people. Don

People vote Republican

Since the Health bill passed - the Republicans are going crazy. I can not understand what there is in the bill that is bad. But let me tell what is going on - The Republicans through being edged on by the Congress people are going after Democrats - even threatning the Families. The Republican Senators and REpresentatives have been pushing people to kill Democrats. Just think the Republicans or at least some of their crowd have thrown Bricks into Democratic headquarters- they even did it in Wichita Kansas and this is a Republican State - what are they scared of. The right wing of this country I believe are crazy people- Remember that is what happened in Germany along with the Finances I believe from Big German Industry. Is that what the Reublicans want in this country? With out the Democrats there would be no Social Security, along with other Major events that have made this country great. It always reminds of a young Friend that I know who is living in a Subdized Housing yet is againt the Democrats. How can a person live or use these programs with out thinking where they came from. When Bush was in power and all the tax breaks went to the rich and local people were paying higher and higher local taxes and He put us in another 3 or 4 Trillion Dollars Debt. Did the Democrats go crazy? Now I hear some the Republican People are trying to take Credit for what the Democrats and the Republicans voted against the Bills. I hope and prey that The Republicans get their way and help turn this country like Germany became. enough said - Don

People and voting

People do not know what is going on. there was an article about the fact that republicans could regrab the House. I hope not as people ought to understand what the Republicans have done to this country. The National Debt belon gs to the Republicans and if nothin else what is going to happen to the Freedom of the Average citizen. Just Think what is happening to the Public School children in Texas with their destruction the the type of Education that they will be getting. Yet people continue to Vote for people that is destroying this country. I am referring to the Republicans. I admit the Teacher's Union has done their best to destroy out public Schools. But oh well I can not change people's ideas. With out the liberals we would not have Highways, schools, freedom and the list goes on. But again what can I say or even do. Enough said. Don

People keeping wild Animals

I have watching TV shows where people keep wild Animals. I guess I do not understand why people do this. It reminds me years ago when I was in Washington and An Airman kept Rattle Snakes in the Barracks. I do not know if he ever got bit but to me it is asking for trouble. If not for him his Barracks people could have got in trouble. People keep Big Snakes likes Burmise Pythons as pets and along as they are kept fed I gather they are not dangerouse but the minute they get Hungary guess what - I think they go after anything that they can swallow. I understand there is 50 thousand Pythons in Florida and they are starting to leave the Swamps go to where people live. I guess they have even found Anacondas which can grow to 20 or 30 feet long and have Girth maybe 2 feet wide. That would make a very dangerous Snake. I understand they are finding all kinds of dangerous animals in Florida and maybe the Soouth. There was an Article about many of the Pythons died because of being to cold.Would that make a dent in the Population of Snakes. I do not think so. What I saw in this program was they are shipping in Poises Spiders etc. I think people are crazy to want to have these kind of knd of animals in their house. Maybe the challenge of trying to make pet out of these animals but who is going win. A couple of years ago a Family I think in Florida has a Python for a pet and it go loose and killed on of the children and I guess tried to swollow the child. I guess we have wild Hogs in the South and they can be real dangerous. I read in the Past somewhere where the Farmers in the south would turn loose Hogs in a field that was full of Snakes and these Hogs would kill and Eat the snakes. That was one of ways that they got rid of Poisonous Snakes. I am confused as to again why people keep these type of Pets. There was a picture in the Paper a while ago where a Python tried to Swollow a Aligator and both died. I never will forget that picture. Oh well nothin I can do about itese type of things but it does Bother me. Enough said -Don

News Reporter Knowledge

There is a discussion on Yahoo that brought this to mind as to what I have written several times to Newspaper Reporter and it brought this mind. Isn't time that Reporter learned about their subject before they write about it in the Papers or on TV. There is more too it besides just asking Question and getting answers or just copying what the person that is intervued says. This particular discussion was brought to mind becase the Earth Quakes in Indonesa was discussed was 1500 Isles not just one. So which one or ones had the Earth Quakes. From what I read in the article, the Reporter did not apparently know what the Geography of the Islands. People should read the comments that people make and they might learn something new. Reporters should learn about the Subjects before they write the Articles and maybe there would be more respect for the News that is put out.

Job fair for Lts and Capts in the Military

There is an article in the last issue of Fortune Magazine about hiring young Officers in their 30's by the Fortune 500 companies. Most of those that they chose were gradates of Institutions like West Point and Naval Academy. Most of those selected were Combat experience officers that had went on to get MBA's. It seemed like the Experience in Iraq or Afganistan leading platoons,etc and doing things that were beyond the normal duties of Platoon Officers. This is a case where the NCO's knew more than the Officers leading them but these Officers were smart enough to let the NCO's teach them. I learned that a long time ago when I was a TEC REP that when I was on base that there were NCO's that could teach me. Maybe the troops coming out of the Combat in Iraq and Afgansistan will become our leaders in the USA. We sure need them. There are other ways of learning leadership and that is get involved in Politics and start out by being a Precint Committee person and learn to work the Precint and later become a Ward Chairman. The person doing this does Meet people and Lean the knowledge to become a leader. Just think to just make a better living. Anyway I thought it was interesting the Article about these people that was hired by these Companies and why they were hired. Don

Genocide by people of different faith

There is a discussion on the internet about the slaughter of the Armenian back in 1915 by the Ottomans( Turks ?) back in 1915. Supposedly there was a million of people killed by the Moslems. But amazingly this has been going on for 1000's of years. The story goes that when the Country of Norway was Christenised that there was 100 thousand people killed. Look how many people were kill by the Catholics during the middle ages - like burned at the stake, etc. This was the policy of the Church. The Genocide of the Jews by the Germans as they said maybe 6 million plus millions of others such as the Poles, The Russians etc. This could go on as the World has slaughtered the Jews for Centuries and there is still Anti Semetism going on. The Moslems have a theory of either belong to their religion or die. What was it that Stalin killed 20 million of his own people in the Soviet Union. Just think whem the Comets come down and destroy us like the Dynasoars 65 million years ago and the Vocanos start to go off as some of them are now and thousands of people die. Sometimes I wonder if this is not retribution for the Stupid things we do to one another. What brought this on was the simple fact that the world is just now discovering what happened in 1915. There are so many things that the Human race could learn and do about instead of the Phony Religion that seem to lead the Human race the wrong way at times. I do not think I will see the end of the World in my lifetime and from what I talk to people or not taught to people about these things. It is amazing what people know about these. NEO's or Asteroids hitting Earth

The science story goes that 65 Million Years ago hit Earth and Destroyed the Dynasoars along with help from Volcanoes. We have enough knowledge to know that Comets are coming, matter of fact they hit Earth all the time. They are not very big or we would really know about it. Whose responsibility is it to deflect or do something so that a big piece of Rock does not hit Earth. One thing about this scenario is the fact of all the churches in the world who keep on fighting another will not stop this thing from happening. We have Mosllems trying to capture the world and destroy all the other Religions. I read somewhere the last couple of days where the Christians are being slaughtered by Moselmes. I maybe read it wrong but I do not have it in front of me to verify the info as to what Country this was happening. Just look how the world hates the Jews and they have been chased from one country to the next where they were allowed to liver. They always gave the World Scientrist, Doctors, et to more tthan pay their way. I saw in some reading where the School children were writing letter Blame the Jews for the the Middle East problem and I believe this was happening in Spain.
I see in Egypt the Government is asking the Colleges in Egypt to turn out engineers an Scientist to help with the Space program. Back to what I am writing about- The Russians said they would help to keep a Comet from hitting this Earth to keep from Destroying the Human Race. If it is noticed we are having more Earthquakes, Mountains Erupting and here in Kansas they are predicting more Tornados. I told somebody while back that the Humans would have their turn of Destruction. I will never see it in my lfetime but who knows my Grandchildren might see or feel it. What is their about Religions that so much hatred is taught the general population. I saw a show on TV today about the middle ages in Europe about the conditions and what it took to get out of that probllem. I seemed strange it started the Christian Religion having a force as to what people would become. You know we are having a similar problem with the Rich getting rich and Poor getting poorer and nobody seems to understand what is happening or why. again who is going to keep that Comet from coming to Earth as I said - our time will come. We have what 6 billion people on Earth - what are we going to do with all these people. I think I deviated a little but but someway it all comes to gather. World Re armenent

I would like to know what all this Warmongering with new Bombs, Missels etc doe to make this world a better place. I see where Iran is getting new Missels to close off that strait where all lhe oil is transported thru. ls Power Hungry individuals sick in the head. How much longer can this globe take on all these wars and destruction of people and buildings etc be able to survive? I guess it is just like Bush went to war for oil and power and in the end what has this country gained. Religion is sure a terrible thing that it looks like Good Lord has phossered on the people of the world. Just look at the Natural Disaster that has caught this globe. Has all this preparations for War for the purpose of killing one another done any good. Can't these power hungerene done any good. Just the Natural Disaster is enough to get people to understand what is going and nobody seems to understand. Just think that Tsuma in Asia killed somewhere in the Hundreds of thousand people. If the money from war was used for the good of people - look it what it could do and we could go to Space and maybe look for a new home before this Globe blows up and millions die and maybe the whole human race is gone. article in Foreign Affaors about rise and fall of US

The Rise and Fall of the American Empire is like the Roman Empire reminds me of what is going on here. The average Citizen of Rome became deep in Debt and the top people became rich and own a lot of Slaves. The people on the farms became peons who were under control of the land owners. The rich had big Villas and the poor or the average lived like Slaves. Just think of what is happening is happening in this country. The rich who make the big money do not pay the proper percent of taxes and their income is many many times the income of the Average person. We have lost so many good jobs that produced the decent income that we no longer have the income to be able to live properly. As the rich does not pay taxes , look what is happening to the average person.- their costs go up and up and up. Just like my water bill- in the last year or so - my bill has gone up over 50 percent. We have been living on Credot Card debt that people can no longer even buy groceries,etc. So how can the Economy keep going when Everybody is so deep in debt and of course the way these companies want you to pay is by Credit Card. These puts the people in a deep bine and as loose control of what they spend.
I do not see this country surviving too many years as the Government both State and Federal and local institutions like the School Boards are deep in Debt. If the Average person is not making decent Wages- then how can the Average person keep on making it. This reminds me of a situation that we had here- Boeing Laid off workers by the Thousands and I saw the income of Bing Drop by the Thousands as they had only the decent income for the Production Workers. I See where Senator Mckain of Arizona put a bill thru Congress to buy Planes from Europe and cut out our workers for our Defense industry . Who is going to pay the bills if all the jobs are outsourced.Enough said as this subject could go on. Don

A thing called Quality Control

I wonder as I read a Magazine about the amount of Air Craft parts that no longer meet standards. I remember in the Companies that I worked for that they talked the Government to quit Quality and just listen to the Technician as to whether it worked or not. The person worked directly for the Company so was expected to make short cuts and get it by the Government Quality Control or in few cases a Young Lt to live with what the company was given as the way it was supposed to work. I know they sold the Buyer of the parts on the basis that the Government or a Company say like Boeing as they had trouble with parts that were outsourced and they did not work or had to be redone.Just the Money that would be saved if they had Quality control Inspectors on the job and the parts were made to work especially since they do not want parts delivered until the day the parts are needed. I had some experience on some of these problems 50 years ago and as I read magazines that they are still having the same problems or even worse since this country is outsourcing parts to be manufactured either in this country or over seas. The Companies no longer have controll over the parts except in the final assembly or even then do not know about it as Boeing did on their 787's.Years ago I saw where Radar never worked and had to modified in the field. The other factor involved in quality control is the lack of knowled by the people either doing the Assembly or as public relations. It is too bad that people like myself were forced out of industry or were replaced by younger people such as our High School grads that come out with 4th or 5th grade education. I have griped enough so will quit. It is too bad that people do not read what I written and maybe do some research to see if I am not telling the truth.

Education of Supers Kids`

It always interesting to read the morning paper and see what is going on. I see in this morning's paper that the Superintendent of schools does not send his children to Public school. If a person has enough money from my experience with my children, a parent is stupid to send their children to public School. I remember when my daughter was in Junior high a teacher pulled her daughter out of Public School and sent her to private School . I finally pulled out my youngest daughter out of Public school and sent her to a private School. Otherwise she would not have had any education as they had her listed as too ignorant to learn. another experience that I had when I was involved with Neighborhood Asoc. and we were putting on a parade every year. One of the projects that I was involved in was to get the 7th grade classes in the schools to write a paper. It has always seemed strange to me that for instance a Catholic school principal told the kids that they would do it part of their normal school work and the public school teacher did not care and if the kids wanted to do it fine and if not then do not do it. The level of the kids in the public school was so low that not of the papers written did not quality. Guess who won- the Student from the Catholic School and what papers we got from the Public school did not have any real quality about them. I said something to the Teacher and she said the students did not have time. My opinion was simple she was not interested whether the Students actually learned anything. I know when mhy youngest daughter was in Public school - they said she was too ignorant to learn and she would have to go on what she could do.enough said-
