I see where the Canadian police had to use Tear Gas on the Demostrator in order to keep peace. These people were protesting the world Corporations that has sprung up and controlling the Economy. Maybe it is time for these Corporations be broke up like Teddy Roosevel did when He was President. If a person goes to the average Bank - they are multi national Corporations and what I read they were the basis for the Destruction of our economy. This idea that these Corporations are too big to fail is wrong and Tax Payers are bailing these Corporations is wrong. Is there any way that Citizens can protest what is happening except by going to the Streets and protesting. I read where the Russians are requesting that a tax be put on Big Oil companies to pay for things like the Spill in the Gulf. Does the Politicians care since they get big donations to buy the Elections. The average person has no idea who pays for the massive adverting that is done to put these politicans in office to sell out the American People. The Supreme court said that Corporations could spend money on these people to buy and keep their power over the Average person. Yet we are going back to the street scenes in Canada that had to be broke by the police. I guess this is what I get for reading and trying to learn what is going on. it is kinda frustrated. Oh well such is life.

A 13 year old boy - what country was he cit. of

I see there was a 13 year old boy shot as he went to the door to answer a knock. According to the paper, a Mexican flag was draped over the Casket. What country was he a citizen of. I an not a Member of the Illegals but when are these people learn they are in the US. There was a case in a Catholic School where the Principal of the school said they had to talk english and not spannish. I guess the parents appealed in court to let the kids talk Spannish. The school won thank Goodness. As far as these people working - they are very good workers but this is the US and English is what made this country. Any language that they want to talk in their homes but the constant issue of the Spannish should be brought to attention of these. It seems like in the Article the Boy's father could not understand English. Many parents when I was a kid did not have anything but Broken Engish but they sure were understandable with a little Patience. Maybe with time these people will learn to be Americans not Mexicans under the Mexican Flag. Oh well I guess that is what makes this country great is things like this.

Aftghanistan

When are we going to wake up and come up with something that works. We cannot afford this war no one,The whole country is not involved,3.It is time that the Corporations should start to pay their fair share. We need to draft people so that every one is involved. We have got to find a way to put people back to work. Wars maybe be the Republican way of doing things but it sure is not the way to go as they defend the worthless Corporations who do not pay taxes. Just think our phony Supreme Court could spend all the money they want to buy Elections and people are so ignorang that they do not realize. the wars over there have killed thousands our our young people and disabled somewhere around 30 thousand men and women. How much longer can this go on. The Russians got out , England and France have been there and have gone. Why should we destroy our country over this phony war that have The Saudi Arabians along with other Moslem Countries that have financed these people. Is not time we found a way of not dealing with these people who are finance these people against us. Is our country not worth saving? If we canm not afford Wars and do not want to involve the whole country in the effort then eventually we will have to get out just like we did in VietNam. It is time that we faced the truth. It is time we broke up the Corporations who are destroying our country. I guess that I could go on but we need another T Roosevelt to come in and help break up these phone Companies. I see where they have changed Generals so what is the answer as to whether it will Work. I do not have much faith in the system that is woring and including the Republicans who have sold us out. Oh well what can an old man do?

Brain Size and use of what there is

There is an article in the Archaeology Magazine in July/August Issue called Footseps of Our Ancestors that is intriging to me. One of the things that is written about is the Size of the Brain pertains to how intelligent we are and the history of the Size pertaining to Intelligence. I wonder whether the Size has anything to do with what we do. It wonder if it is not the experience that an animal goes through. The reason this is brought to mind was several years Ago a large Cricket was in my basement on the top of a couch. It kept watching me and would back over the rear of the Couch. It was like a game of Hide and Seek. Finally when the cricket thought I was not looking go off the Couch and started running toward the Seward. I did catch it but the thought went through my mind in that it is not the Size of Brain but how it is used. Life is sure interesting if a person would sure use their eyes, ( the 5 senses) and go on in this world. Enough said Don

Republicans and their tax breaks

I listened on the TV about the people take in the acct about Lowering Taxes. Kist tjoml every time they talk about lowering taxes what happened when the little man has to pay more for Merchandise. To give an example what happens-- Just think about the water bills because the people do not use enough water so they raise the local rates because of this problem. How many years ago Water was down to 10 dollars now it is up to 30 dollars. This situation keeps going up. This is true about taxes in general- like during the Bush Administratopm - taxes wemt down for the Rich and powerful but what happened to the National Debt. There was an article in a magazine that I got that stated that 67 percent of Corporations do not pay any income taxes. Even if this is only partially true but with out taxing the Rich and the Powerful as it is seen - they hire less and less people but these people get greedy. I do not think that people realize what is really going on and allow themselves to be treated like mobs with out any control how the mob is going to react and just go wild but do they have any more control of what happens. I told a young man many years ago about in groups of 4 or more to take a step backward and find out how he thinks. These people that are part of these mobs like the Tea Parties need to do this befor they elect somebody that in the future will make them slaves. I guess I'll qjuit , at least I do my own thinking and that is one things writing blogs like I am doing makes me think of the direction that I go.By the way I appreciate the print getting big enough for people to read of what I am writing. This always reminds a few years ago when I was taking a college course- the text book printing was so small - it took me a lot of digging to understand. Don

payoff to Politicians and not to their constituents.etc

I see by the news that Republican Representatives in Congress are having a hard time apologizing for the Oil Spill. They do not care about the Citizens in their areas. I guess if they get enough money from the oil Companies they can lie to the Citizens of their precincts and wards and win elections. People do not know the difference betweem lies and truth and do not seem to care. Politicians can use things like sex offences to win elections but not the real things like jobs and decent wages so that there is a middle class to make the economy work. It is just like the School system that keeps saying about more money but are forgetting the honest levels in public school system. What is bad about the system is simple is that the movies and TVs are full of sex and lack of clothes and nothin to the story. The politicians use the Abortion issue to win elections but in the real times to sell out the American to Corporations. Yet there is hardly a day goes by that there is not a baby killed, like the one where the Father put a baby in a scalding hot swower(spelled wrong)and the young one had 3rd degree burns per the Paper and apparently the Father did not know what he is doing. Lact of brains ? Yet the politicians will dwell on these type of issues but do not tell the people who they represent. Oh well what can I do except write about it in places like this Blog. Post 911 thought and what etc

First a complaint aganst Cox, the print size is too small to read and to want to understand what is being written. The size of the print is going to make what is being written to understand, etc Now to the main idea of what I am writing about. Just think in WW 2 everybody was involved with the war effort including the Corporations . We had TaXes that helped pay for the War Effort. We had total production including Companies like Ford (I believe) motor Company that was making B24 airplanes , etc. What have we got now-Corporations that really do not pay taxes. Corporations that pay for things like the T Party Groups to propragandize the Ameican People and in the end Destroy this Country including the Economy of this Country. We have a so call volinteer Military that does not effect the Average person or so they think. These operations are destroying us Financially as in some cases it has not been put in thje Budget of the Government and the American people do not realize what the Wars are costing ys. It is too bad because we have trippled our national debt and them some. (This size of print will make it harder for people to read or to learn what is going on. )Even as I write it is beginning to look like a bunch of Giberish. This is destroying the use of the Internet as an education device. Anyway back to the War effort - People really do not know what is going on and what the effort in Asia is costing us booth Man power and Financial. With the Aount of International Corporations, well our economy is being destroyed and with amount of Propaganda put out by the Corporationss what does the People realize what is going on and who pays for these shows like the T Party groups. I was honestly surprised after reading the local paper in the editorial page. The Re9publicans keep talking about paying taxes and Government. I have written this before but they printed this so I am not the only person that lies that the Republicans have told the American People.1. Obama inheriteda deficit at 1.2 trillion Dollars from the Bush administration, 2. Regan alm ost tripled the Deficit . 3. George h W Bush doubled it again and 4. George W Bush Doubled it again. 5. The longest peace time growth was under Clinton-was 107 months. Unemployment was 10.3 percent un der Regean6. Jobs Under Reagan 2 million jobs were added, 6.Under George W Bush 650,00 jobs were added ,7. Under Carter 2.3 million jobs per year8. and under Clinton added al mostt 3 million jobs per year. 8. last but not least there were under tax cutting policy under George W Bush there were 2.6 million jobs were lost. You should really look into the Propaganda that is put out by the Republicans and check this info out and see where we are going. I personally run into to a problem because the local Credit union operates out of Miami and the red tape to borrow money against CD's is sad sack . I really think if you look into what is going on The Corporations are destroying this country. Check it out for your selves.

Ed Shultz on Msnabc

He get wound up about the middle class worker and I fully agree with some of the comments. But one of the things that has not been brought up- is the Actual cost of the Wars in the Middle East that is costing us a pretty penny every day. With the cost of the Airplanes etc can we afford to go to war any more regardless since the people are no longer involved in any part of the Decission such as the Draft, E:specially since supposedly it is a volunteer Military and it does not affect the average person since there is not a Draft. Just think under Bush the cost of the war was never part of the Budget . I do not think we cannot afford to go to war anymorel. Just like we cannot afford these huge International Corporation and there is not any local input as to how they are managed. Teddy Roosevelt had it right when he said we have to break up these corporations. All these politicans talk about small business yet if a small business thas too much sales then these Corporations will find a way to put them our of Businedd or buy them out so there is not a real competition any more in our Economy.It is too bad that ideas like this can not get to people like Ed Shulze. I wonder would promote any ideas like mine . Enough of my frustration and will close. thank good Lord I still have a right an idea to be able think in an Independent or so I think that it is independent. The I more listen toto what Bill Clinton did in backing Senator Lincoln gives the impression that he was selling out the middle Class who worked so hard in electing him twice for the Presidency. Are the international Corporations that powerfull that they can even get Bill Clinton to do their bidding.
We really need the UNions in this country. As I wrote in the previous Blog even in China people are getting tired of being slaves. Is that what the People in this country was to be Slaves. I was surprised when I read the Wall Street Journal yesterday about the Company with 800 thousand workers at low wages was striking for higher wages and from what I gather- got away with it. I hope someday the American people will get tired of the so call Conservatives who sell out to In ternaitional Corporations and change the laws for the Amercan People and redelvope a Middle Class again. I see where the Chamber of Commerce is putting on a campaign to have the Tax Payers pay for the oil Spill of BP Corporation . If I remember the Savings and Loan scandel during the Regean presidency was paid for by the American Taxpay. Yet people back the Candidates financed by the Corporations. The Election and thoughts from Obama Admin.

I see where Bill Clinton went down I believe Arkansas and Campaigned for Lincoln who campaigns for the Corporation and against the American People. Whether she voted on time for the Obama administration is not the answer to the probllems of the Middle class and the millions un either unemployed or low wages for the working people. I see in the Wall Street Journal about the strikes and higher wage in China and they are getting it. I see where it is just the opposite in this country. I got a E mail from Mitch Stewart about wriiing my Congressional Representative and I have done this before and it never does any good. The people keep on electing people that really do not represent their interests. I see by the news that in Nevad that the Republicans have elected a person who is against Social Sec. etc so if these things desappear then I get the people can blame theselves. The so called Conservative movement is trying their best to destroy the middle class of this country and guess who is paying for the information that is espoused by these people. The corporations who if they go under want the Tax Payer to pay for their Crookeness. I could go on but what is the use.

After listening and watching some of the results on the policaal scene- I really scruck me how ignorant people are. In voting Republican and some the conservative( so called ) who votes for things for Big Corporations who are destroying the US as we know it. Just imagion what George Bush and Cheney has done to this country for the 8 years that they were in office. Are people really ignorant as shown by the voting records. It must be. Between the Spreme Court who voted for the Big Corporations to buy Elections and the so call Right Wing people- how much longer can this country survive as a democracy and have a middle class. I guess people want to be Slaves. That is what History tells us when these people gain the power. Shortage of American Scientist and Engineers

There is a shortage of American Scientists and Engineers in the US according to an article on the internet. With our present Grade school system and Teachers that do not know Math, etc and the fact that Grade schools teachers do not know Math and science how can the students in what use to be junior high know the math and science that is required to go to College and become the Scientists and Engineers that is required for this Country. It always reminds me a School Principal when I ask him why the Teachers do not have to take trig, etc. He replied the subject matter is not taught in Grade school so the Teacher can be dumb and do not have to have the background in Math,etc to teach(ha Ha) the grade school subject. It always reminds me of a situation when the Neighborho0d Ascoc. has a program for 7th graders to write a paper on Government. Most of the Public Schools did not teach or lead the children into doing this paper. It seems like the poor babies had too much to do and what few students did the papers was basically back in the old days 1 grade work. The ones that won and did the paper came from Parocally schools and the instructors told the ( young adults) to do the paper.If you look into our colleges - the ones taking math etc are foreign born students and they are allowed to work on some of these projects since they are not citizen of the US. Of course there is another problem in the US - the Corporation do not allow their working people to learn and promate local people to Management. What is this country going to do with all the problems that we are doing to ourselves. Oh well I am out of the Labor market so I do not have to worry about these personal problems except in the end it could bother my retirement etc. Grade school students really want to learn if they are given a chance. I used to be invited into Class room to teach Math as an outside speaker. This was a 2nd grade class and I would ask if they ever saw the Radar antennas ( screens) and I would say that was a Radar site. Then I would draw a picture on the Blackboard and show an Airplane out a way. then I would tell the kids that they had to wokd the distance in order to see it on the scope and then I introduce adding Subtracting etc to that the operator could figue how far the Plane was from the airport so that the pilot could land on the runway. this philosophy worked and the young adults asked me whether I would be back the next day and I had to say no and they would say you are the first person that would actually teach us something. Oh well We are back to teachers that do not know how to lead the children into learning. enough Said.

Corporations, etc and of course Republicans

I had an interesting discoussion with a young man with 2 Degrees from College well anyway I do not think he understands along with many other people about the relationship between Holding Companies who do control Corporation. The holding companies can put sub Corporations in deep in Debt and the average person does not realize why this country is going down hill and enlavement of people that the Republicans along with the Corporations are trying to do. I do not think the Average person who is on Medicare,etc realize where the money comes from. The only people that seem to care about people are the so called Liberals - not the Conservative that are paid for by Corporations who are controlled by Holding company that do not have to face the debts etc for their actions. It is too bad the people listen to the Republicans and so call Conservatives and try to honestly discover what is really going on and what they can do about it. The Republicans are trying to Destroy the Unions who brought us things like Medicare etc and people just continue to vote for people that are trying to enslave people. If we do not find someway to put people back to work at decent Wages then there is little or no hope for this country to survive. If this is what people want to be slaves and uneducated then I guess this is what people want to be. We even have a Supreme court - everything 5 to 4 that are trying to helpe the Republicans and the Corporations to enslave the American people. I wish people would think and vote about these ideas. Enough said - at my age I guess that it does not make any difference. I have to admit that it took a fews years for me to realize what is actually going on and try to do something about. I admit that the Teacher's Union have helped to destroy this country's education system. It is too bad everybody had their finger's in the pie as to really what is going on. Don
