Strange World

The world is a very strange place that we live in. here we climate world warming yet nations are talking war. Russia is leading the list wanting to bring back the old Soviet Union. Thsi silly country lead by Bush went into Iraq and tied up our money and military which is pretty well shot. We have had to use National Guard for regular fighting and consequently, our military is pretty well used up along with the equipment that is in their units. I forgot but we also have gone into Debt another 6 trillion dollar. It looks like we are at the mercy of the world because of oil problem and of course shipping all the manufacting jobs overseas. The climate is rapidly. What would we do if Banglesh since it is below Sea Level and the fact rising oceans would literly cover the country yet all the money that is spent on Military. I saw an article where Russia is up grading their should I say Bomber fleet that with the 4 motors can fly at Mach 2. What have we got that can do the same. B 52 are 49 years old I think and can not compete. I have question - why do we have to pour so much Militarily in Europe and the money that upkeep the equipment when they should be doing for themselves. We cannot pay for the wold anymore as that day is gone. Just think as an after thought - Reagan put us 3 trillion dollars in debt - and now under Republican -has added another 6 trillion dollars. Yet world with climate strange - the Artic is melting and The Antartic ice is melting- when the Oceans rise 14 or 15 feet- Civilation is gone. According to the scientist the central part of US was a big ocean - We have a huge problem in the Middle East with the Moslems who it seems are out to destroy the world unless people conver. Just think how the Christians have done to the ancient maya etc and where was the care. I read somewhere when Norway was converted - a 100 thousand people died. I forgot - just think The Germans and the Concentration camps where millions were killed and apparently was ok with the Church. In this country Slavery was ok with the church. I guess I have rambled enough- I often wonder if anybody reads my blog. It is fun and it keeps my frustration down. History shown us how stupid Civilization when the Greeks much knowledge of the world yet what happened during I believe the middle or black times. The huge Library at Alexandria was destroy by Christion Sects because it interverded with their ideas. Just think - Christian do not believe in evolution because it competes with their idea. Yet history tells us Civilizations has come and gone. How about the Dynasors that had their time on Earth. Maybe it is time of the so called Human Race to be gone too. enough - Don

Hurricanes

It seemed like many years ago that the either the Air Force or the Navy used to send Airplanes to monitor the Hurricanes. This was a long time ago but a friend of mine used to fly Constellation to the Eye of the storm. It seemed like I heard on TV that they did not have information as to where the storm was was really going. I may have misunderstood what they were talking about but NASA but I believe they were sending up Business jets to monitor the storms. From what I listen to TV, it seems like they need to do it again. Times pass me by but it seemed like some of the ways are needed again. This applies to a lot of subjects but I will try to stay on the same subject. Don
