There was a letter to the editor in Aviation Weekly that brought up something that I remember from My experience. I was an airline radio operatro many years ago and one thing that happened was that Lightning struck the Airplane. Anyway nothing happen ed to the Plane as it was made out of Alumin and of course the lightning just went around the metal outside. With the 787 made out non metal - what will happen if lightning strikes the Plane. Will they put bits of metal in the outside so that the lightning will travel outside the pllane. Or will the plane just become a big capaciter charged up to a few thousand volts and of course possibly the humans will fry. I know these are just silly questions I am asking in my mind. aclu and illegal mexicans

i never thought I would see the day about my change in attitude about the ACLU. I think that the ACLU is selling out the American worker. They are also trying to help enslave the American people by helping to bring in cheap labro. These Mexicans get free medical and all the free goodies that the average american can not afford. They and big business do not care whether we get food that is bad, and all the things that these people are getting free. I wonder who is for the average American worker. I realize the Catholic Church wants these people as a Pope said in Denver several years ago that to be a good Cathlic and should be very poor. Rember the Cathlic church was in charge of Europe during the middle ages and where was the average person but very poor and uneducated. Is this what ACLU , the church and Big business wants. Maybe that is the question ought to be asked of these organization. I guess the American people deserve to lose for electing Repubulicans and President Bush and of course the Supreme court was involved in this procedure. i guess this is what the conservatives want- slav e labor and uneducated people. Disability with the City of Wichita

I know of a case where a person got hurt on the job. this is in Wichita, Ks. and this is a right to work state. Well any way this person got hurt with his big toe and and the nerves in the foot kinda smashed. for 6 months he was laid up and he did work in the office. Actuall this was not the first time these people had in the office doing office work. This was not new. this person tried to get transferred to a softer job but he always got turned down. Anyway at the end of the time they transferred him to a fianance job which was totally new. He actually did a very good but there were errors of a nickel and dime type that did not add up to anything. I guess even misplaced a couple of check that head bookkeeper used against him. The thing was that they actually set him up for failure. In the past they would not help him get an office job but they did use him but would not help him in any shape or form. Of course the City of Wichita wanted him out as they did not want to pay him for disability. it is not me but I am writing this for to get the frustration out of my system. This country is going to the dogs as they are against the working man. I guess with all the illegals willing to work for peanuts they can tell the working man to go to hell. This is a so call republican state and the results are there to see. It it just like people with felonies that can not get over their troubles and make a life for themselves. What is this country going to do with all these troubled people. we do not have a school system that is worth adarn and the kids come out of schools really hurting. This is why I have a blog as can not seem to do anything about troubles that are developing. All the Psycologists will not solve these troubles. We sure need a change. don

Bush's war and our national debt

Just a short one this evening. A comment on Iraq -I just watched a show on CNN on a ambush of the marines and it is heartbreaking to watch. One thing they are doing is showing the American people the actual casualtites that Bush Admin. refused for severy years. I guess the 06 election made a difference and with the Democrats in power -at least the truth is coming out. Anyway we sure elected a man that refuses to pay the bills. Our national debt is growing by leaps and bound under this president. When are the american people realize bills have to be paid. One of other minor comment- It seems like they cannot get enough young people to volunteer for the military. I realize that Bush and the republican party does not care. People should remember that this happened under Reagan. As the national debt keeps growing what is going to happen to our economy and the slavery that Bush is pushing. Bush has pushed for cheap labor that will not pay local taxes. I see more and more houses for sale with out people not having the money to buy and fix up. Why was not the media discussing the Iraq situation before we went into Iraq and the of course the payment for this war and the people power to man this war. They say better late but it still has to be paid for. I arealize the people no longer get an education in our school system so they really do not understand what is going on. Star wars ideas

There was a show on the History channel that intrigued me and it was sure good. The were comparing the ideas shown on the history channel. They even had comments from President Bush how he said trust him and everything would be all right. I have said it before about the times of the Roman Empire where dictatorships were brought in to run the Empire along with the ultra rich to give orders to the geeral population. In the end people became slaves and lost their freedom. I see in the paper and on the internet where people are getting injected with microships and they can maybe not yet be controlled but it sure is a start. Seccurity will destroy our freedom. Security will also destroy our middle class and in the end make us slaves. Words are not flowing like they should. Back to the Star Wars - Terms like Storm Troopers from the Hitler era that brought out the Holocaust and people fell into like sheep. History should be studied not from the stand point of remembering dates but how the events were used by the rulers in the destruction of the people from free people to controlled people by either the mass church,or the Czarss, or the kings or by the rich people who became dukes etc. Is this the way people shoujld live. The show on History channell ought to be repeated and every high school child should be required to see and listen to it. It is just like the mess wtih Pres Bush and the way the war with Iraq was used to gain control of the american people -by cuitting taxes on the uppper 1 or 2 percent and sticking the people with huge debts. It reminds me of NWA taking the airline private and sticking a 3 or 4 billion debt on the Airline so that the top brass could own and controll the Airline. The public and the employees had to pay off the debt but the people on top that got the benifits from taking the the airline private did not have the responsibility of their action. It is just like KGE where Witig supposed stoal all that money but in the end he was not reponsible for his actions. If A small peoson steals a candy bar the this person will get the maximum. It reminds me of the two border patrol officers are now serving 10 or 11 years for shooting a socall unarmed drug dealer runnning from the Patrol as the district atty went overboard in hanging these officers. There were rumors that the Mexican government was involved thru the back door and that is why these officers were convicted. But who knows and anything that seems to go on with the Bush administration seems to be so full of lies and deceit. Remember the lies that was told about going into the Iraq war and also the lies about the CIA agent that Libby got convicted for as when this first came out that Bush would throw them out of his administration. It turned out that is was Vice President Cheny and his cohorts that did the damage and the Republicans keep lying about what happened. Oh well I am wandering so better quit. It was interesting comparing modern day events with Bush and history of what happenes when the Goverment and the rich use Security and the lies about it to destroy the freedom of the people. thanks Don

Bush'problems with american people

When a president is elected - does the american people know what he is bringing to the government. We do not know what a man brings to the white house after he or she is elected. In case of Bush - look at what he brought to the White house - Even though Rumsfeld is going along with Cheny - he brought the war in Iraq and of course selling out ot crazy people from Saudi Arabia his oil buddies to finance theri war with the US. What did Bush bring to the dept of labor- business people who were anti labor - and slave labor. What did Bush bring to the Dept of Agriculture but disabeying the law telling the the American people where food came from whether it was bad food from China or Mexico. What did Bush bring from Mexico but selling out the american job with low wage earners from Mexico and maybe even selling out our soverignenty to Mexico. Is this why Bush was elected and he was supposedly a compassionate Conservative. Is this what he promised the American people the enslavery and the destruction of the American middle class. Is this what the republican party is? Is this what conservatives are? What did Bush bring to the Mining industry - all the safety standards? We have had 6 years of bad governemt and the loss of our military. Iraq has been nothing else but a training ground for our enemies. Is this what Bush and his ignorance meant to do? Just think of the huge increase of our local taxes because the righ no longer pay taxes. If this country is to remain a democracy then people like Gates have to pay big taxes not not just olive in castles and have huge summer homes. I hope it is not too late for american people wake up and change. Just think what the Supreme court is doing to this country and going against the common person. It even looks like Bush and his cohorts have sold out to the Drug cartesl. This could go on so better quit writing questions so please people learn to do something about the problems and get a real education and that is only comes about by reading . Luck Don

Gambling and the Economy

Locally they are pushing to put a casino and the reason is people are supposedly traveling to spend theri money. But it always amazing to me that as the economy goes down the first thing people think about. As the economy has gone down - the first thing that seems to fill up the town are pawn shops. The pawn shops are lending a lot of money with high interest rates and people lose their shirts. As the wages keep going down - what are people to do. The local taxes keep increasing and people will be forced out into the streets. The rich keep getting richer and do not have to pay taxes as the rich does not put their money back into people and pay decent wages . to get back to subject in matter- Gambling does not increase local money to be spent locally. As the people get poorer - and people gamble to get more money -it does not work. There is not any free money thru gambling. I remember my father taking the last 5 dollar and going down and gambling to get more money. This was back in the 30's and we did not get over the depression until transportation and production to get the war machine going. One thing we did have those years- was we had good schools that made the students learn. I was selling newspapers on the streets and I remember people taking their WPA checks and gambling them away. Memories are made of this. In the process I never had to do home work as I could pass all the tests at end of 6weeks and get a good grade on my report card. Of course we did have good teachers that told the kids that they had to learn or they would flunk. That is not true today. Gambling gives false hopes for a free ride so I wonder what will happen when realization starts to take a hold. Who knows that might get some decent politicians running for office that might be interested in the average person before it is too late and our economy is totally gone. Churches are not the answer except to make a person feel better but that does not solve our troubles. What can I say? People wake up before it is too late. Don

Bush's fianancial record

I do not understand why there is not a clamor for Pres. Bush's scalp. The National debt has grown beyond the imagination and nobody seems to care. Our Trade deficit has grown beyond the imagination. yet nobody seems to care. I realize with our school system that the average person does not haave any knowledge of these situations so maybe there is a an excuse for the troubles. Our operators at the airports are in over their heads about controlling the airplanes flying in and out. Does anybody care? Does our president and vice president care? When is our government going to care? Transportation is starting to break down when the amount of traffic is taken into acct. The only thing the police seem to care about our highways is the amount of tickects that can be written. Our interstate highways in many cases have become local streets instead in transcontental hjghways. Can our transportation system actually handle the quantity of cars on the highways,theairplanes in the sky and our water etc on the quanity of people on this planet. We really need a space program to ship some of the population to outter space. I see when the Cathlics are starting to drum up the population to be the only religion and if that happens - remember the the middle ages when they were in charge of the population. There was not any education for the masses and the people became slaves. Where is our president with all these problems going on. All he is interested is War and the destruction of our country. If he is not capable then he should resign before he does any more damage. I said once before we need somebody like Teddy Roosevelt to run our country. We have got to break up these huge corporations that are making these profits and trying to enslave the American people. Enough rambling - people at least have fun. Don

public school education

Something came to mind about our public school education. We have a public school education that might as well be closed up. So call educators are so ignorant and is the lowest degree in College - I am referring to grade school teachers. All the politicians think about education is more money and it will not buy anything. These grade school teachers are destroying this country. I know a young man that has been lied to by School system and today he is in deep trouble. Our so call educators with their low grade psycology and socialogy back ground have really damaged this country. Our so call educators have not any faith in our young people. They keep saying how they can teach but results are there to be seen. Back in the 30's they used to have 1 hour classes, grade school had courses like history, geography, real penmanship,spelling, and of all things even band. The school I went to had tests at the end of 6 weeks and that was the report card grade. If you think I am joking - take a look at some old mcguffy readers. That is what we need to get back to if this country is going to succeed. Check and see who take math, etc in college. It is not our native born Americans - it is Oriental mainly whether born here or coming from Japan and China Minly. It is too bad the American People have agreed to our low level public school. I could go on but please check into it.

Libby

I guess in a way Bush has already pardoned Libby. In commuting Libby's preson's sentence - he also effectively pardoned his 2 years of cannot think of the words any way where he has to report to probation officer. according to what they say by the judge - Libby would have had to serve atleast 1 day. The question of a congressional committee able to ask him question and get an answer is doubtful. The congressional comittee sure can not threaten libby to get an answer as what he officially knew. Bush covered himself in effectively pardoning Libby to continue to keep is mouth shut. it looks like Libby was promised pardoning by Bush probably Thru Cheny and Pres. Bush sure came through. To me it is impeachable material but it will never be done . The Republicans spent 150 million to try to get Clinton on Sex but here Bush lied about the operation of the Government and nothin. Bush put us in war in Iraq and there is a real problem and unless Turkey really gets interested( my opinium) I think there is not any answer to the middle east troubles and we could be stuck for years. I wonder if the truth will ever come out how and why we went to war in Iraq. Maybe Liby and some of the people in the Bush Administration will write a book and the truth will be known and lies from the Bush administration will be known. Remember Bush would not stand for anybody lying about the Problem and of course the lies come out. Bush pardoning Libby is the answer. Don

inflation

I have been thinking about this especially since watching gasolene rise in prices. To me the reason the gas prices rising is simple- supply and sales is controlled by 1 or 2 corporations.The these corporations control supply and demand so they are in control of the pricer per gallion at the local station. Back to inflation with the rise in price of gasolene every thing is starting to rise. Can goods at Alde's used to be 3 for a dollar not the price is 47 cents so that is a rise of price of 15 cents a can. so that is a rise in inflation of 16 percent. Does my social security next month rise about 17 percent. Does my interest rate on my saving climb from 5 percent to 21 percent? I remember un Carter - interest rate climbed to 21 percent. My proprerty taxes seem to go up about 15 percent or better every year. And if the illegeals keep getting more free medicail insurance and next to free housing then my local taxes will continue to rise and things like a local arema for Basketball etc will call my taxes to continue to rise. If they put a caseno in town then my properaty evaluations will increase ( just like in Atlanta City, NJ) and people will be driven from their homes. The taxes will be so high where will people live? Inflation is a bad thing - and remember the cheapmess of the dollar do to the huge local and national debt and the foreign trade imbalance - Our enemies is using this to sell out country out and to destroy us. We really need some drastic changes in Wahington and some new thinking at our home towns. There is not a easy way to the pay the bills. WE can nnot continue to subsidize big business like we are doing now. again read about the end of the Roman Empire and I see where Catholic church is going to use latin again and that will begin the control by the church over people and they want people to be poor and become in effect slaves. Geration gap

What brought this to mind was that I heard a TSarg give a speech about Conditions in Iraq. The purpose of the talke was to talk parents into letting their sons or daughters sign up for the Army. What he said was the gravy over their - places like Mcdonalds etc there for the troops. I am not saying some of that is not true but he was a propragandist for the US Army. Later in the conversation that I and someother from the Post discussed . one question was whether we should have a draft as they can not get people to volunteer for the army regardless how much money is offered as bonus- the the question is all the money will not bring a dead body back to earth. So who wants to die. Anyway we also talked about the abilities of the present group who have to be babied in the service or at least some of them. Anyway he talked about even the difference in first time he went in and now with the modern day troops. He was the one who brought up the fact - there was a generation gap. The fact is what is wrong is our school system and the education system. Grade school teachers considers all the young adults ignorand and unable to learn. I wonder who is ignorant maybe it is our grade school teachers. I thought about the so call generation gap and it is the difference in how my generation had grade school and the present crop of young people. I ask the Sgt if he had hear of the Autro-Hungarian empire and that is no longer taught. If for nothin else this goes back to the 1st world war that is no longer taught in school. I use to have such things in grade school. If the education system treats these young people as ignorant then that is what is turned out. The reason we are getting less and less of Engineers coming out of college ( I am talking about native born not foreign students) is our grade schools. Again I was surprised in the private conversation that we had again the generation gap. If we are to keep this country going we have to change our school. Last but not least - if we are to go to war then we have to have the draft if we are going to have the country behind the militiary. The so call volunteer army where huge amounts of money is offered for college expenses is not really volunteer army. It was an interesting day this 4 of July. The Kennedy assasimnation

it was strange here I just the book by talbot on the kennedy bros. and today on CNN they interviewed Talbot on his book. it is strange how a person read or glances at book and more information comes aboard. I did not get a chance to copy all the names of the books and authors that are bringing our more information on the kennedy bros. Talbot did bring out the fact that Dorothy Kilgalan had interviewed Jack Ruby and had some information on the Kennedy assassination. I remembered the lady dying mysteriously and the manunscript for her future book on assassination disappeared from the room. As it is known - Jack Ruby was never interviewed properly again and his brain supposedly went bad. Ever since The CIA has brought out some papers on some of the sneaky things that they did - it seems like more information in starting to come out about the Kennedy assassination.There were supposedly two shooters on Bobby and extra bullets in the walls that was covered up. How come we have a Government that lies to the American people. ( just think of the present situation with the vice president Cheny - that says he does not have to tell the truth about anything- Just think the right wing tried to impeach Clinton over sex but the right wing can lie about the Governent functions and get away with it- why does not the American people demand the truth about the present government?) I have book on Oswal and his strange wondering and how he got back and forth from Russia but since he never was put on trial -the truth will never come out. Just more thoughts on the Kennedy Bros. From listening to Talbot -Kennedy's problems were simple - if there is a way of not wanting to go to war then this country should not go to War. as an after thought -we do not need to go to war to keep the economy going just by pouring money into space projects,learning about our own earth etc why do we have to go to war.
